“It’s quite simple, good office design can make the difference for the success of your company. The best approach to developing good office design and finding a solution appropriate for your business, brand and budget, requires careful consideration and expert advice from our qualified and experienced design team.”
Occupying the ground floor of the sleek Two Summerlin tower in Las Vegas, the new corporate offices of the Howard Hughes Corporation pay sophisticated homage to the legacy of its iconic namesake—aviator, innovator, and master planner. Designed with an architectural narrative that weaves together precision engineering and modern corporate functionality, the interiors serve as a spatial metaphor for flight, innovation, and executive command.
Visitors entering the suite are greeted by an arresting installation of custom-fabricated metal panels sweeping across walls and ceilings—a sculptural homage that abstracts the aerodynamic form of one of Hughes’ most celebrated aircraft. The reception area, bathed in warm ambient light, is anchored by rich walnut millwork and honed stone finishes, which lend the space a sense of gravitas and timelessness befitting a company steeped in visionary enterprise.
The plan favors transparency and agility: open workstations and informal collaboration zones encourage a dynamic workflow, while perimeter offices feature modular glass fronts outfitted with sliding barn doors—offering acoustic privacy without sacrificing daylight or connectivity. In a nod to restraint, the palette is deliberately muted, allowing carefully placed accents of color to punctuate the space with a sense of clarity and precision, much like Hughes’ own design philosophy.

Charged with translating an ambitious corporate vision into a contemporary office environment, EV&A Architects responded with a deftly articulated design that balances operational scalability with employee well-being. Conceived as a flexible hub for a growing portfolio of companies, the headquarters integrates tailored spatial solutions with an ethos of environmental stewardship and workplace wellness.
The design process was deeply collaborative, with the EV&A team engaging closely with the CEO and key personnel to establish a framework rooted in clarity, comfort, and sustainability. The resulting space is a light-filled and acoustically balanced workplace, where architectural restraint meets thoughtful detailing. Expansive glazing maximizes daylight penetration, reinforcing circadian rhythms and elevating daily experience, while open sightlines across the floorplate strengthen interpersonal connections and foster visual continuity.

Tasked with reconfiguring a conventional office into a dynamic, collaborative workplace, EV&A Architects delivered a design that thoughtfully reconciles openness with focused functionality. The project reflects a deliberate cultural evolution—one in which the client embraced transparency, connection, and creative synergy as central tenets of their organizational identity.
Rather than default to a fully open plan, EV&A partnered closely with key stakeholders to curate a spectrum of spatial experiences. The resulting floorplan integrates acoustically sensitive team rooms, private huddle spaces, and a stately executive boardroom, all calibrated to encourage both spontaneous collaboration and purposeful retreat. These strategic enclosures support the rhythm of daily workflow while fostering new patterns of interaction among staff.
In a series of firm-wide presentations, EV&A demystified the design process, engaging employees directly and building ownership around the change. By unpacking material selections, circulation strategies, and acoustic considerations, the team elevated the staff’s understanding of how design choices support workplace performance. The result is more than a renovated interior—it’s a spatial catalyst for transformation. The shift toward openness has empowered teams to connect more fluidly, yielding a noticeable uptick in creative output, morale, and engagement across the board.

For its latest collaboration with HHC, EV&A Architects was presented with a compelling challenge: to translate a shifting corporate ethos into a physical environment that not only supports operational needs but also embodies a renewed sense of workplace identity. The new corporate office is a departure from one-size-fits-all models, instead embracing a nuanced approach to space that reflects the diversity of working styles within the organization.
Empowered directly by the CEO, a cross-sectional staff committee was entrusted with critical design decisions—a move that signaled the company’s commitment to inclusivity and cultural alignment. Through a series of interactive workshops and design charettes, EV&A developed multiple planning schemes, each calibrated to stretch the boundaries of conventional workplace hierarchies and encourage autonomy at every level.
The final plan accommodates a wide spectrum of work modes—from enclosed, acoustically shielded spaces that support individual focus, to open, agile zones designed for impromptu teamwork. Central to the design is a suite of vibrant communal areas—scaled from intimate twoperson lounges to expansive gathering spaces for up to 20 occupants—crafted to serve as social condensers that activate daily interactions and cultivate a sense of belonging. This latest iteration of HHC’s workspace isn’t just a new office—it’s a spatial expression of evolving values, where design is both a mirror and a catalyst for organizational transformation.

In response to rapid growth as one of the nation’s leading credit card issuers, Credit One Bank has unveiled the second phase of its financial services headquarters in Las Vegas—a bold continuation of its vision for a cohesive yet evolving corporate campus. Situated on a 22-acre site, the new four-story, 157,000-square-foot office building complements the flagship headquarters, completed in 2016, while asserting its own architectural identity.
Designed by EV&A Architects, the expansion engages the existing campus fabric through a shared design language of clean modern lines and material continuity, yet introduces fresh formal gestures that speak to the bank’s forward-looking culture. A key intervention is the two-story, 4,000-squarefoot “town hall”—a luminous, double-height commons that physically and symbolically connects the two buildings. More than just a circulation hub, the town hall serves as the heart of the campus, offering a vibrant and flexible gathering space that fosters collaboration, reinforces company culture, and defines a new civic realm within the workplace.

The client— led by a CEO intent on energizing company culture—sought a luminous, contemporary environment that would reflect the dynamism of their industry while cultivating a sense of inspiration and agility among staff.
Harnessing the visual language of the racing world, EV&A employed larger-than-life environmental graphics as immersive wall treatments, transforming corridors and gathering zones into branded experiences. Iconic imagery and design motifs drawn directly from motorsports animate the arrival sequence, framing the entrance lobby, conferencing suite, and staff lounge with kinetic energy. These design moves not only celebrate the company’s identity but also anchor the spatial narrative in momentum and performance.
Beyond aesthetics, the office is engineered for adaptability—an agile environment calibrated to the expectations of a tech-savvy, collaborative workforce. From open-plan work areas to reconfigurable meeting spaces, the architecture supports a culture that fluidly toggles between heads-down focus and collective innovation. By blurring the boundaries between workplace and social hub, the design delivers on the CEO’s vision: a headquarters that’s as exhilarating as the industry it represents.

Situated in the heart of Las Vegas, the new headquarters for JRS Hospitality—visionary developers behind some of the city’s most iconic dining destinations and PR stewards for high-profile athletes— transcends the conventional corporate model, blending lifestyle, leisure, and brand culture into a singular spatial experience.
The interior architecture is anchored by a restrained palette of soft grays, punctuated with carefully curated bursts of color that lend energy without overwhelming the space. Rich walnut detailing lends warmth and refinement to custom millwork, wall treatments, and ceiling installations, unifying the interiors through a subtle material language. The thoughtful modulation of ceiling heights, combined with integrated lighting, elegantly guides visitors through a space designed for both flow and discovery.
At the heart of the workplace lies a fully functional commercial-grade kitchen—the nucleus for daily chef-prepared meals, impromptu gatherings, and even communal baseball watch parties. Here, work and play converge with intention. Eschewing the traditional reception desk, the entry sequence opens into a residentially inspired lobby, more living room than lobby, fostering an immediate sense of hospitality. The adjacent balcony, accessed directly from the communal kitchen, democratizes the best views in the office—offered equally to staff and guests, underscoring the company’s ethos of shared experience and elevated living.

Few architectural relationships demonstrate continuity and innovation as seamlessly as the enduring partnership between EV&A Architects and International Market Centers (IMC). With roots tracing back to the firm’s earlier tenure at JMA, the EV&A team has been intimately involved in the design evolution of the WMC campus since its inception in 1999. From early shell buildings to the dynamic interiors that define the user experience across more than 5 million square feet, EV&A’s role has been both foundational and forward-thinking.
As the campus matured, EV&A’s interiors team took on the herculean task of concept development through construction documentation for each individual showroom—coordinating tenant improvements at a staggering scale of approximately 100,000 square feet per floor. The work ranged from minimal “white box” solutions to fully realized interior design packages, tailored to meet the diverse needs of an ever-changing roster of design brands and exhibitors.
Most recently, EV&A delivered a significant milestone: the complete build-out of IMC’s corporate headquarters on the 16th floor of Building B. This workplace redefines the executive environment, featuring a raised-access floor system for modularity and workplace agility, while channeling a spirit of playfulness and creative energy. Designed to reflect IMC’s vibrant culture and operational complexity, the space serves as both a command center and a cultural hub—further cementing EV&A’s legacy as an integral partner in shaping the physical and experiential identity of the IMC brand.

Occupying a prominent suite within the Two Summerlin tower in Downtown Summerlin, this tenant improvement project supports a growing gaming technology firm with a hybrid workplace that deftly balances precision, creativity, and collaboration. Designed to accommodate 35 professionals, the 9,000-square-foot workplace integrates showroom, office, and production functions within a unified environment that reflects the company’s forward-thinking ethos.
Upon entry, visitors are welcomed into a spacious, hospitality-inflected living room that sets the tone for the office’s open, inviting character. From here, sightlines extend into a glass-enclosed main conference room and an adjacent showroom that features a curated display of the firm’s latest gaming innovations—transforming the front-of-house experience into a brand statement.
The design team employed an exposed ceiling strategy to enhance spatial volume and foster visual continuity across zones, while selective soffiting and an advanced specialty lighting system delineate key functional areas with subtlety and clarity. In support of the company’s technical operations, the floor plan also incorporates private workstations for engineering teams and a purpose-built, acoustically optimized sound booth—a bespoke environment where original soundscapes and musical content are produced to elevate the immersive quality of next-generation gaming machines. Altogether, the project exemplifies how high-performance workplace design can be finely attuned to the demands of a rapidly evolving entertainment technology sector.

Perched on the sixth floor of the 1700 Pavilion tower in Downtown Summerlin, Security National’s newly completed office exemplifies a design ethos rooted in quiet sophistication and enduring elegance. The space leverages expansive glazing to frame sweeping vistas of the Las Vegas Valley, establishing an immediate sense of openness and connection to the urban landscape.
Departing from conventional front-of-house arrangements, the reception desk is subtly offset, allowing visitors to take in the full breadth of exterior views upon arrival. The entry sequence unfolds beneath a meticulously detailed ceiling, where hard lid elements are punctuated with herringbone-patterned walnut inlays, adding warmth and material richness overhead. Beneath, polished stone flooring in subdued tones anchors the palette with a crisp, contemporary sensibility.
Work zones are articulated with tonal contrast—deep, saturated hues and layered textures define shared lounges and meeting areas, while carpet tile and stone demarcate circulation and collaborative nodes. Private offices reinforce a culture of accessibility through full-height glass partitions and sliding barn doors, fostering transparency and inclusivity throughout the workplace. The result is a refined, thoughtfully tailored environment that reflects the client’s commitment to excellence, clarity, and a modern workplace ethos.

Anchored within the vibrant Downtown Summerlin shopping center, Summer House introduces a refined, coastal sensibility to the wellness and tanning experience. Conceived as a prototype for a nationwide rollout, the flagship studio was designed with a clear directive: to evoke the relaxed elegance of a Hamptons beach house while offering a curated suite of luxury spa services.
The design unfolds in a palette of crisp white walls, breezy shiplap paneling, and sun-warmed wood tones that conjure the ease of a seaside afternoon. Far from the typical aesthetics associated with tanning salons, the interior reads more like a high-end lifestyle boutique—bright, calming, and meticulously composed. Each element, from the hardware finishes to the custom millwork, was selected to embody the brand’s identity: elevated, approachable, and effortlessly chic.
Beyond its carefully curated aesthetic, Summer House is a functional environment designed to scale. It accommodates both the technical requirements of tanning and spa treatments and the experiential demands of a discerning clientele. The close collaboration between designer and client throughout the process was instrumental in capturing the studio’s ethos in built form—laying the foundation for a design language that will inform its future locations across the country.
