EUC 2007 The EUC Beach Volleyball 2007, that was planned to be in Paralimni, CYP had to be cancelled because of the organisational problems. The championship will now be organised from July 16-19, 2007 in Valencia / ESP. EUSA NEWS EUSA OFFICE HAS MOVED The office of the European University Sports Association has moved to a new location. Since 2004, the EUSA Office has been hosted by the Slovenian University Sports Association (SUSA) at the International Center for Promotion of Enterprises. Now the Rector of the University of Ljubljana Mrs Andreja Kocijancic offered to house EUSA. The new offices are now located at the Faculty of Sport of the University of Ljubljana. The President of EUSA, Mr Alberto Gualtieri, EUSA Secretary General, Mr Matjaz Pecovnik, together with other EUSA assistants, offer their sincere thanks to the Rector of Ljubljana, Mrs Kocijancic for the kind gesture. While some contact details (such as email address, website location, and telephone number) remain the same, there are also some changes (the postal address and the fax number). To smoothen the process, we activated redirecting services but we urge you to update our contact details as soon as possible. The new contact information:

lin on the 22nd of January. On the Agenda of the meeting there was the review of a possible common activity among EUSA, FISU and IRB. This meeting has a particular importance after the very positive result of the 2nd FISU World Rugby 7’s Championship held in Rome in 2006 and in the perspective of the EUSA Rugby 7’s activity starting in France, Grenoble 2007. In the course of the meeting, several hypothesis of common work were taken into consideration, resulting in a near future collaboration among IRB, FISU and EUSA which could bring to very constructive achievements for the future of University Rugby 7’s in Europe and beyond.

Common intent to operate with all countries whose Sport University Associations’ traditions share their roots with Spain and whose intentions are to give an important contribution in this area emerged at the visit. EUSA President and Vice President on behalf of the Executive Committee and EUSA Members, showed their gratitude to Mr Diez for the helpfulness demonstrated in this occasion.
