A social media campaign organised earlier this week by the husband and family of Kirsty Maxwell has proved highly successful. The twitter and facebook appeal is for people to come forward with information on the final hours before her unexplained death. The newly wed Scot fell to her death from a tenth floor balcony at the Payma Apartments in Benidorm last April. The appeal has been further updated this week to include references to the ‘My Pretty Payma Apartments’, which are the refurbished properties on the same development as the ones where Kirsty died. With more than 5400 likes already and over a thousand shares on facebook, the campaign is picking up pace rapidly.
