COSTA BLANCA N ORTH SUCCESS
VER the last 12 months, businesses large and small have endured an uncertain period as Brexit gripped the nation, but the majority successfully weathered the storm and we are extremely proud to present a selection of Costa Blanca’s finest. There is no doubt that the region is immensely diverse in terms of cultures and nationalities, all of which assist one another in their efforts to thrive within their own fields, enabling them to grow and succeed. This provides for a wonderful eclectic mix of ideas and concepts to ensure the ongoing growth and success of the area. New business networks continue to pop up in and around the Costa Blanca, encouraging male and fe-

male entrepeneurs to share their experiences as well as providing excellent platforms to make new contacts and seek sup-
port. Town halls and local authorities are far more proactive than ever before, forming valuable relationships with their peers across Europe, which can only benefit businesses here at home. And almost every local council has made sure their town and city’s commercial and tourist assets are represented at the biggest industry fairs here in Spain and overseas. They also recognise the importance of non-Span-
ish residents and have appointed special council members to represent the interest of foreigners in the council chambers. In fact, we are now seeing foreign born representatives being elected to different councils in a range of roles. But success is measured in many ways, and charity, lifestyle and also the arts play an important part in the lively area that is the Costa Blanca, and guarantee the region re-
mains an attractive place to live, do business and visit. There are regular theatre performances, museums and art galleries to visit, dance, modern and classical music and film festivals to attend. And the number of different nationalities living on the Costa Blanca has resulted in an ever-growing quality choice of restaurants offering new styles of cuisine to enjoy. The future certainly looks bright and exciting on the Costa Blanca.
