MORE than 200 migrants arrived at Costa Blanca ports and beaches in just 24 hours this week. This was the biggest influx ev e r se e n i n su c h a short time, according to the Red Cross. Most landed at Alicante, Torrevieja and Guardamar with more arriving further north at Benidorm, TeuladaMoraira and Benitachell. She added that they use “unstable boats, and being overcrowded the passengers a re s us c e ptible to s uffe r blows and dizziness in the crossing.” Emergency services also recovered the decomposing body of a migra nt off the coast of Cartagena.
