British woman asks for €10m in compensation A BRITISH woman, 41, has reportedly initiated a legal battle in a bid to obtain €10.4 million in compensation after she became quadriplegic as a result of a wave pool accident at a hotel in Magaluf. The incident took place in 2017 when Bonnie Lackey, from Crawley, was on holiday celebrating her cousin’s hen party. The tragic accident allegedly happened when Bonnie, who was sat in a floatie, was tipped over by waves from the pool and fell face down into the water.
