Brit inquest opens A 51-YEAR-OLD former director of a British price comparison website’s death at his Marbella home was probably due to drugs, an inquest into his death has heard. North Wales East and Cen-
tral’s coroner said at the opening of inquest hearings that Sean Thweny was found dead at his Marbella home in February. His wife Nadia was able to identify him. Coroner Ruthin John Gittins
said documents drawn up by medical specialists in Spain after the 51-year-old’s death suggested it was probably linked to drug taking. “But the full cause of death is not yet known,” Gittins said.

Thweny’s body has since been repatriated to Britain ahead of the inquest which opened last week, the coroner added. Julie Dodge, the 51-year-old’s sister, confirmed at the hearing that her brother did have a history of drug use. The inquest has now been adjourned until later this year. Gittins said its findings may not be released until afterwards due to needing to get documents and evidence from Spanish authorities. Thweny was previously a business development director at the Moneysupermarket price comparison website. His funeral is due to take place tomorrow (Friday) at Chester’s Ebenezer Baptist Church. His body is then due to be buried in Blacon Cemetery. Thweny’s family and funeral organisers have asked for donations in lieu of flowers to give to the Narcotics Anonymous charity. The charity uses a programme to help drug takers beat their addictions.
