Corrupt cash call MARBELLA’S mayor has called on Spain’s government to help the city recover hundreds of millions of euros lost to corruption and residents may have influence on how it is spent. Angeles Muñoz, who is also a conservative Partido Popular (PP) senator for Malaga Province in Spain’s Parliament, said there was still more than €300 million missing from city coffers. Muñoz added she had tabled a motion with the Senate’s Local Entities Commission which called for all available resources to be used to recover “every last euro” extorted from Marbella. “We will get justice for Marbella by regaining its lost money for the residents of the city,” she said.
