Brit stabbing by Joe Gerrard TWO British men were taken to hospital in Torrevieja with serious injuries after being stabbed in a fight in an urbanisation in the town. One suspect, a Romanian national, has been arrested in connection with the attack. Police said another suspect, also a Romanian man, remained at large this week. Police alleged the stabbing took place on the San Luis-El Chaparral urbanisation early on Thursday morning. An argument is said to have broken out between a group of British men and Romanians near a bar on Calle Rodrigo at around 1am. The reasons for the dispute remain unknown. Blows were allegedly exchanged between the two groups before they parted ways. Police claim the suspects then returned with knives and

LOCAL POLICE stopped a 60-year-old man from jumping off a bridge in what are believed to have been two suicide attempts in one day in Murcia City last Monday. Officers said the man had since been admitted to the psychiatric unit of Reina Sofia hospital following the attempts to take his own life. Police came across the man during his
