Elderly driver left hanging AN 87-year-old German woman managed to drive her car across the edge of a steep hill in the centre of Moraira, leaving it teetering over the void. Local residents sat on the bonnet to stop it from falling until the driver was rescued and the Local Police took control. A crane was brought in and the car removed. One of those who sat on the bonnet, Werner Verdonck, said on Facebook: “Glad the lady got out ok, not quite the way I expected my birthday dinner to go by weighing down the front of her car til the grua arrived lol a night to remember!�
