Mission: Hollywood SCARFACE director Brian De Palma is in Almeria for the first time shooting his new film Domino. The American, who has been at the helm of Hollywood production for 50 years, is using the ‘sun-drenched landscapes’ of southern Spain for the suspense thriller. Specifically that means following in the footsteps of countless other directors and using the stunning scenery of the Tabernas Desert. Shooting takes place throughout the summer. Domino is a joint Spanish, Belgian and Danish production that tells the story
of a Copenhagen policeman tracking an Arab suspect who killed his partner to Spain. It is expected to be one of De Palma’s biggest budget films since Mission: Impossible in 1996. Serious acting royalty will be joining the 76year-old veteran in Almeria soon. The film stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, best-known for his portrayal of Jamie Lannister in Game of Thrones, and Christina Hendricks of Mad Men fame. HOLLYWOOD: Brian De Palma to be shooting film in Almeria.
