Hopes fading Brit now missing for 11 weeks THE family of missing Allen Varley desperately hope that he will be found safe and well, despite him not being seen for over two months. On Thursday January 5, Allen left the Ambassador Playa Hotel in Benidorm and has not been seen since. The father of two in his early 70’s and from Hull was on holiday when he disappeared wearing a red patterned shirt, black trousers and black shoes. Alan is in need of continuous medication for blood pressure, stroke treatment and Crohn’s disease. Euro Weekly News spoke this week with Carl Varley, Allen’s nephew. Carl said: “There has been absolutely no news. We’re resigned to believing the worst and that he
may now be lost at sea, but we are still praying for a miracle.” Allen Varley is five foot five inches tall, of stocky build and speaks with a heavy northern accent.
