Tragedy in Javea By Matt Ford A popular British couple found dead in a villa on a Javea urbanisation died from carbon monoxide poisoning after breathing in deadly fumes from a faulty boiler. Derrick and Vicki Holdback died on Thursday, December 1 and police report there were no signs of violence in the couple’s home. Their bodies were discovered
around 10.30am on the first floor of their home, named ‘Louise’ on Calle Pio Baroja, which forms part of the La Lluca urbanisation.
Two of the couple’s friends had become suspicious failing to see them for several days. Turn to page 4
