IS Frigiliana Ferrero Rocher’s perfect location? Rumours had been floating about for some time that there was a surprise on the way for Frigiliana. Now, the council has announced that the village, along with another two in Spain, will be competing for the privilege of hosting Ferrero Rocher’s 25th anniversary celebrations in Spain. The publicity campaign for the event started to run at the weekend on Telecinco national TV channel and other members of Mediaset Spain group. It includes videos of Frigiliana, Torrecilla and Morella, the three competitors aiming to prove they are the prettiest and best in the country. The focus is on two aspects: beauty and goodness. Although the fact that Frigiliana is beautiful is evident from the

pictures, its goodness is also revealed by the videos as they focus on the many charity projects the village has become known for. The Three Cultures Festival, which has since its inception worked to raise funds for various causes, and a recent project which has seen almost all the local women knitting blankets for refugees, are just two examples of the goodness and generosity Frigiliana hopes will help it win the coveted title. Now it will be down to the public to vote for their favourite village, and Frigiliana Council has put out a call for everyone to help prove the village is perfect for Ferrero Rocher. Turn to Page 2
