By Linda Hall THE summer season is called the high season with good reason. Hopes are high as the tourist sector prepares for an influx of visitors and the in-
crease in summer rentals for apartments and villas on the coast reflects this optimism According to holiday experts TripAdvisor, Almeria Province holiday rentals have risen 30 per cent this year, comfortably outstripping the
average 7 per cent increase anticipated elsewhere on Spain’s Costas. This comes as particularly good news to business-owners in Almeria Province. Having felt the full impact of the fall in summer visitors
during the crisis years, they are now among the first to benefit from the recovery. The increase in national visitors is especially noticeable but foreign tourism is holding up nicely, too, say holiday bosses.
