Princess Di’s retreat for sale
A LUXURY villa that Princess Diana once used as her hideaway has been put up for sale. The price tag is a whopping €38 million, making it the most expensive piece of property on the island. Castillo Mallorca is located on its own private peninsula. The property has a
private cave and a jetty for yachts. It also has a swimming pool, sauna, gym, piano lounge and billiards room. Diana spent her summers in the massive villa before marrying Prince Charles. The main house contains the ‘Diana Suite’ where the princess is said to have spent a great deal of time.

Bernat Amer, the council delegate for the environment, stated that the council has now decided to take action and has officially announced that, from September, it will be making a series of improvements to the infrastructure in the area which should solve the problem. Amer went on to comment that the council would be meeting in the very near future with the company responsible for the improvements to agree on a budget and a timeframe in which to complete the works. The works will have to be done in phases as they will include the replacement of current pipes with larger capacity pipes and, as such, there may be intermittent cuts in supply.
