Now Ryanair D-Day all set for Monday

€40m plan for truly iconic HQ A €40-MILLION expansion is planned for Alicante’s European headquarters of trade marks and designs. The Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM) will begin the expansion project in January, with building changes making it an architectural icon in Alicante Province, both through design and for energy and environmental efficiency. An official inauguration is expected in late 2014. The goal, according to OHIM, is to generate a comfortable environment which improves efficiency, communication, business synergies and the professional development of its 1,200 workers. New construction will include a threestorey building on one side of the existing headquarters and a 450-seat state-of-the-art auditorium in the main open plan entrance. OHIM receives nearly 200,000 applications a year for trade marks and designs.
