Formed at the start of the new millennium Eurosafe was created to offer fall protection systems to both existing and emerging marketplaces in the UK and Northern Europe.

Drawing on the director’s diverse range of experience gained from working for main contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, and the rope access industry, we set out to form a company based on innovation, service, and value for money whilst only ever offering the best quality products.

Working closely with clients since the year 2000 has led to the development of the Safety Circle®concept, where multiple components are required to ensure a robust health and safety plan is maintained and all the key components in the plan are looked at.

Eurosafe now offers a full range of services to complement this concept. We can provide a full risk assessment and evaluation of your site and its specific access requirements, specify and install the most suitable equipment to ensure the task is carried out safely, provide your staff with the correct PPE and equipment, and ensure they are sufficiently trained to use the equipment and carry out the works safely.

The most important part of managing risk and the key to a quality functioning safe system of working at height or in confined space is getting the correct professional advice for your building or site.

This advice should thoroughly assess the present risks, the tasks that are required to be completed, the safety measures already in place, the equipment and PPE that is present and finally the skill level of those exposed to this risk.

Workplace Assessment & Evaluation

The potential hazards and threats are recorded within the system to determine your risk profile and existing protection measures.

The requirement and frequency of your operations, and the level of risk the worker is exposed to whilst accessing areas at height or in confined spaces, are all taken into consideration when assessing your working environment.

All the assessments, hazards, and recommendations are presented to you in an asset report. From this, we can then create a plan of action including a detailed drawing, a programme of requirements detailing our recommendations, and a budget quote including lifetime costs for the long-term maintenance of these assets.

Plan of Action

Based on the Workplace Assessment & Evaluation Report produced, we will provide you with a clear plan of action that will consider the operational schedule and any permanent or temporary measures that should be put into place.

Height Safety Consultancy &Audit

Working at height can be extremely dangerous and can lead to serious injuries or even death.

Our health and safety experts can help you identify potential risks and provide you with practical solutions to help keep your people safe.

Our consultants have extensive knowledge and expertise and are well-known in the safety industry for providing the most practical safety solutions.

They will take the time to understand your environment and needs before making any recommendations for improvements so that you can be confident in the changes made.

Height Safety Audit System

During an audit as part of our Safety Circle®, one of our consultants visits your site and identifies all the areas and existing systems that are not compliant and expose workers to risk.

Working at height design strategy and audits can be conducted for both new and existing buildings.

Written reports will be created based on the established principles, or ‘hierarchy of risk’ with detailed specification of the most appropriate systems for accessing the rooftop, façade and other areas for cleaning and maintenance.

Site Assessment Review includes

• A compliance audit and written report conducted in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, Working at Height Regulations (Amended) 2007, all relevant British Standards, Codes of Practice, and written manufacturer’s instructions

• Revision and creation of risk assessments, safe systems of work, and emergency procedures

• Planning for rescue when working at height

• Site visit conclusion and recommendations on the use of the correct PPE and proposed training requirements needed for safe working at height

Confined Space Consultancy & Audit

Eurosafe can provide consultancy & audit services from assessing spaces and identifying if they are confined spaces, to creating risk assessments for a wide range of industries.

The Confined Space Regulations 1997 were created under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HSW Act) and came into force in January 1998. The regulations apply to all premises and work situations that are subject to the HSW Act within the UK. Under these regulations, entry into a confined space can only be made by a trained competent person.

Therefore, if you have a confined space with a specified risk, you must meet the requirements of the Confined Space Regulations 1997. If you can’t avoid entry, you need to ensure that the safety systems put in place are suitable and sufficient before allowing work activities to commence in a confined space.

Eurosafe’s experts can help you identify and understand confined spaces and the hazards and risks associated with working in them. They can audit and risk rate the space (High, Medium, or Low) and highlight any likely problems that may be caused by their entry point and internal design features.

Developing a plan with the categorised confined space risks can help prioritise where resources are required for conducting a specific task within the space. It will also include entry requirements such as equipment, manpower, and detailed emergency arrangements that would be required to rescue someone who had become incapacitated.

Confined Space Audit System

Our confined space audit system identifies, records, and stores all information on confined spaces by drawing together risk assessments and other safety-related documentation.

Designed to assess the areas at a client’s site to determine their status (restricted access or confined space), this system enables our confined space specialists to provide a detailed audit of those spaces that could be a potential entry hazard. The system enables them to capture supporting evidence, comments, and photographs to build a complete rear-time picture as a record of the assessed area.

Our confined space assessors/auditors will produce a Site Assessment Review which will highlight the site’s confined spaces and other information such as site images, manpower and PPE & equipment, and training required to enter the area safely.

Site Assessment Review includes

• Identification number, location, and/or name of the confined spaces

• Brief description of the structure and the task or activity typically undertaken within the structure

• Type & classification of the entry (Low, Medium, or High)

• Hazard summary

• Present specified risks

• Any other additional hazards

• Site Images

• Manpower

• PPE and Special Safety Equipment

• Site visit conclusion and recommendations on the use of the confined space PPE & Equipment, and proposed training requirements needed to enter the area safely.

Architects and Developers

Eurosafe has been providing a complete design and specification service to architects and property developers for over 20 years, both in the UK and Northern Europe.

The use of 3D and adoption of BIM by architects and developers are allowing sophisticated and intricate buildings with changing roof levels, envelopes, and façades to be designed whilst looking incredible and performing fantastically creating complex access issues for future maintenance.

Eurosafe’s experience and knowledge of the latest products and methods compatible with the building allow us to design robust comprehensive roof and façade access strategies to overcome these problems, giving the architect freedom to achieve their dreams. This service is supported by a comprehensive BIM library for all products and detailed architectural specifications accessible through the NBS portal.

Access Strategy Documents

Modern buildings are complex multidimensional objects, each one different to the next, a brand-new healthcare facility being very different to a high-rise office development so your maintenance access strategy should be properly looked at and formulated at the initial planning stage.

BIM Library

Eurosafe has an extensive BIM library that is available to our clients. Every product in this library contains all necessary supporting documents allowing architects and designers to easily incorporate the information into their projects.

Typical data includes NBS specifications, technical information, standard fixing details, user instructions, and long-term maintenance requirements.

Models can be simply downloaded from our library providing specifiers with a fully supported BIM-ready solution.
