Your hotel guests can always feel the need to order food to their hotel room, even if it is late in the evening or at night. But if room service is not offered, or if the menu is not exciting enough, your guests will instead pick up food from a nearby sandwich bar or grocery store. And therefore you will lose money from your customers that otherwise would have ordered from your hotel!

This makes room service (or in-room dining) relevant to all hotels. But many hotel guests are quality minded and cannot be offered just anything - even if it is late at night. And it can be a challenge for hotels where the chefs have either gone home or are standing alone in the kitchen.

MENU SUGGESTION 1

CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA WITH NAAN BREAD For 10 people you will need Marinade 2000 g steamed, shredded chicken fillet 1018371 500 g natural yoghurt 5 pieces of garlic, finely chopped 20 g ginger, finely grated 4 teaspoons garam masala 2 teaspoons turmeric 1 teaspoon chili flakes 1 teaspoon crushed cloves 2 teaspoons flake salt 3 squeezes of lime juice Sauce 400 g onion, chopped 3 cloves garlic 15 g ginger, freshly grated 6 tablespoons tomato concentrate 3 teaspoons turmeric 6 dl water Salt and pepper Oil for frying Coriander and naan bread Here’s how you do it Mix all the marinade ingredients together with the chicken and let it steep for 4-5 hours. Sauté onions and garlic until onions are clear. Add the other ingredients and make it boil. Add the marinated chicken and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and lime. Serve with naan bread.

TIP Use a ready-made tikka masala sauce to make it even easier.

MENU SUGGESTION 2

CHICKEN A LA CARBONARA WITH TURKEY BACON For 10 people you will need 2000 g fried chicken fillet in strips, sandwich style - 1014711 400 g turkey bacon, fried - 1066311 800 g pasta 1 liter milk 80 g flour 80 g butter 200 g solid cheese Grated nutmeg Salt and pepper Oil for frying Here’s how you do it Melt the butter and add the flour.

Add the milk while stirring and cook the sauce well. Grate the solid cheese and nutmeg. Add salt and pepper.

Fry the chicken strips in some oil, season with salt and pepper. Prepare the turkey bacon.

Boil the pasta and mix it together with the sauce, chicken and turkey bacon. Garnish with herbs.

TIP A white ready-made sauce can be used to make it easier - and as well ready-cooked pasta. All ingredients are mixed together and can be heated quickly in the microwave or in a saucepan.

MENU SUGGESTION 3

CAESAR SALAD For 10 people you will need 1500 g roasted chicken fillet - 1020391 800 g sour cream 500 g parmesan cheese 50 g lemon juice 40 g dijon mustard 1000 g heart salad 400 g cherry tomatoes 200 g bread crouton Salt and pepper Herbs for decoration Here’s how you do it Grate 400 g parmesan cheese into the sour cream and mix it together with lemon juice, mustard, salt and pepper.

Cut the chicken fillet into suitable sizes.

Mix the dressing with the salad, chicken and tomatoes. Garnish with tomatoes, parmesan flakes & herbs. Then it is ready to serve!

TIP If you want to twist the popular classic dish a bit, then serve the caesar salad in a tortilla wrap.

Roasted chicken fillet, 110-130 g, Item no. 1020391, 2x2.5 kg / carton.

MENU SUGGESTION 4

THE ”HANGOVER” PACKAGE For 10 people you will need 1000 g roasted chicken fillet in strips 1014111 1500 g roasted BBQ wings - 1013231 1500 g potatoes 4 egg yolks 600 g rapeseed oil 20 g mustard Salt Thyme Grated parmesan Oil for frying Ketchup Chili sauce Sliders / small burger buns Vinegar Here’s how you do it Cut potatoes into the desired french fries size. Boil them ‘al dente’ in salted water.

Cool down the potatoes and dry them.

Heat the oil up to 150 degrees and fry the potatoes golden and crispy. You can also bake them in the oven at 200 degrees. Fry the chicken in a pan.

Whisk a mayonnaise by turning egg yolks, a little vinegar and mustard together. Whisk the plums airily and add oil gradually. Season with salt and pepper. For the dip, add a little chili sauce to the mayonnaise.

Build the burger with grilled chicken, a little salad, mayonnaise and ketchup. Bake the wings or fry them in a deep fryer. Add thyme and grated parmesan on top of french fries and the dish is ready to serve!

TIP To make it even easier, you can use frozen french fries and ready-made dipping. You can also choose one of our five other wing products if you want to give the dish a different look.
