First, connect the scanner to the OBD connector that is located under the steering portion of the vehicle. Then just switch on the ignition and keep it in ON position. After the connection is properly placed between the computer and car, then just press the read button on the scanner for getting all the details about the trouble codes. After the successful completion of the scanning, note down the error codes for decoding the problems of a particular make and model. Through the decoded code, all the problems in the vehicle are detected. During the inspection, if these parts need to change, then change it or calibrate it for running it efficiently. Once the problem is fixed, then erase the error by pressing the erase button from the scanner and switch off the ignition again.

Battery disconnection If you don’t have the OBD scanner, then reset the check engine light of the Mercedes-Benz by disconnecting the battery.
