Why is it called Versapanel® Eco? This is to make it easier for our customer to order an FSC® Chain of Custody certified product.

BS EN 634 Part 1&2 – governs particle boards’ and wood-based panels’ tensile strength, mechanical properties, density, load factors and resistance to humidity, frost and hard body impact.

BS 476 Part 22 – Describes the procedure for determining the fire resistance of non-loadbearing elements of construction when subjected to the heat and pressure outlined in Part 20 of the same document.

BS 594:2011 – Tests the racking strength and stiffness of timber frame wall panels. This tests subjects building boards to intense pressure ensuring that it does not deform either vertically or horizontally.

BS EN 12086: 2013 – This determines the water vapour transition properties of a product.

EN 1195 – This standard specifies a test method for determining the performance of timber frame constructions subjected to:

– Specified concentrated static load due to impose action from persons, furniture and equipment

– Specified impact loads produced by human motion.

EN 1716 – EN 1716 tests how building products react to fire and established their calorific potential – the amount of energy produced during complete combustion.

EN1182 – 1182 tests building products combustibility. Whilst being subjected to 750˚C temperatures in a furnace, the products are constantly monitored for visual flames, increase in temperature and loss of mass. These measures are then used to categories the products combustibility.
