LANGUAGE

Located in 16th district in Paris, on the top of this old Mansion the project suggests the extenstion of one floor. The programation is the appartment for familiy and guests. It provides the nice view of Eiffel tower and the park Bois de boulogne.

With the light wooden structure and glass facade, it creates the subtle scnerary on the top of the traditional hausmanian building. The balcony of the inner courtyard side has a plenty of space for greenary and outdoor activities.

In this project I was engaged in design, visualisation and preparing construction and admistration documents.

The Python project involves the construction of 47 housing units and a commercial space in the 20th district of Paris, located on the western side of a sector between a park and a ring road. The design prioritizes public accessibility and incorporates greenery throughout the residential area.

The architectural plan focuses on constructive efficiency and cost-effectiveness, leading to standardized construction elements that optimize material and labor use, resulting in time and budget savings.

The use of cyclopean stone and concrete piles, with uniform block dimensions, combines creative architecture with practical construction, minimizing costs associated with complex shapes.

This project proposes a new type of platform that is recognized as a ‘Imaginary Production Activity’ by creating energy using the steps and vibration and wind of the subway in Samgakji Station, which has along isle for transfer purposes. Active public station created by individuals provides fair and universal opportunities for imagination. And this Process becomes an Energy, Production.

Module could adapt a different site condition and connect the splited site condition through underground space. Each module is responsible for infrastructure, such as lighting, energy generator, ventilation, and elevator.

Jetée by Sujets-Objets is a expansion project competition in Geneva. This project of elevating the three buildings by two new floors also focuses on enhancing the façades, and the new volumetry allows the ensemble to achieve optimal density. Thus, increasing from 153 existing apartments to 201 apartments after the elevation, this new scale integrates harmoniously into the built context and aims for continuity in the urban morphology of the neighborhood: an adaptation to its environment that offers a new identity to the Miléant–Borgès buildings.

Following the existing vertical circulations extend into the new elevations, typology of the dwelling is to have communal space which connects kitchen and living room, overcoming narrow and small appartment. this central area also offers interesting visual connections.

Hot Wheels by Sujets-Objets is a project about rethinking of space and designing of flexible furniture in Porteousan abandonned sewage treatment plant. After ten years, the water treatment system became obsolete, but were revitalized by implementing an open kitchen.

Making of a flexible kitchen system. Precise design of new pipes, following every pillars. The kitchen on wheels allows for a placement anywhere, and the pipes system gives access to water everywhere.

Collaboration with local squatters abandoned material from the factory had been reborned to wheeled furniture reflecting the flexible kitchen plan. With this project I have enriched understanding of sustainable architecture and comunicating process.

Second sky : engendering grid

Seoul biennale architecture urbanism project_prof. Kangil Ji Korea national university of arts, 2021

Proposing a new green grid in Gangnam, Seoul, center of the city, responding to the increase in logistics and vacancies occured after COVID-19. Green grid engenders inside the city which can replace huge demand of Shipping and resolves the disconnection between the ‘Mega blocks’.

Suggesting green grid at the area of huge mega blocks in Seoul, we can grow what we need inside the city and decrease the CO2 emission from delivery services. Along the grid by grouping mass we can lower the ambient heat inside the city, create shadows.
