Preamble The 44th General Session of the EuFMD Commission was held on the 21-22 and 23 April 2021 in virtual settings, due to travel restrictions. Rules of procedure concerning in-person sessions of the Commission were suspended, in order to allow the virtual format. Delegates from all of the 39 Member Nations of the Commission, official Observers from the European Commission (EC), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), and civil society organizations participated in the three-day meeting.
