The Eudora Schools Strategic Plan is crafted to maximize the effective use of time, talent, and resources by aligning identified district needs with clear priorities.
This plan was developed after a series of listening tours conducted by district administration during the 20232024 school year. The tours aimed to gather comprehensive feedback from various stakeholders, including students across all grade levels, parents, employees, and community members. The feedback sessions highlighted the district's strengths, needs, and future direction from the perspectives of those most affected by its decisions. All data points were analyzed and prioritized to pinpoint growth and to identify collective focus areas over the next five years for Eudora Schools.
The result of the strategic planning process led to a committed promise and three focus areas that Eudora Schools will serve to fulfill each and every day!

Communication Plan: Design and implement a comprehensive communication plan to improve two-way communication and increase family participation and engagement.
Relationships: Know each student by name, strength, and need. Family Connection: Involve families in understanding and supporting their child's strengths and needs through the design of Individual Plans of Study (IPS), partnerships, and conferences.
Empowerment and Engagement
Student Engagement: Increase participation in co-curricular activities.
Empowered Leadership: Expand opportunities for students to take on leadership roles within the school community.

Student Profiles: Develop and maintain comprehensive individual plans of study profiles for each student that highlight their strengths, interests, and areas needing support.
Student Recognition: Enhance practices to publicly recognize students for their achievements, contributions, and growth

Teacher Collaboration: Ensure learning for all students by focusing on the guiding questions and effective practices within PLCs.
Standards Alignment: Develop, implement, and refine a guaranteed and viable curriculum that includes balanced assessment.
Instructional Coherence
Clarity: Deliver consistent and clear messages to address expectations related to district goals and high-quality practices, and implement a guaranteed and viable curriculum. Growth and Mastery: Increase the number of students performing on grade level on screeners and state assessments.
Accountability:
High Expectations: Implement district-approved resources and school agreements through high-quality instruction Instructional Leadership: Embed instructional leadership observations and professional goals aligned to district goals, and increased professional coaching walk-throughs and evaluation. Market Value Assets: Expand opportunities for career exploration, work-based learning, industry-recognized credentialing, and college coursework obtainment
IPS: Integrate career development activities into the curriculum. Community Partnerships: Increase internships, work-based learning, and job placement opportunities through employer partnerships.

Growth and Resilience: Ensure students achieve their academic and personal growth goals and are prepared for the future they choose. Thriving and Engaged: Embed classroom opportunities to practice critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication Digital and Media Literacy: Develop the skills and knowledge to engage responsibly in a digital world.
Our Strategic Plan dashboard helps us monitor our progress toward our goals. The measures focus on key results necessary for us to achieve and reach our goals. Each measure is associated with one or more Strategic Plan goal(s).
These measures may be revised or recalibrated over time to reflect work completed, new opportunities, and innovative ways to track advancement toward our goals. While the data in the dashboard represents a district-wide summary, district and school leaders continuously review the data broken out by student group to assess our work and make improvements.
