DESTINY LAWSON Ushundi 22 was created with unique and different in mind. Ushindi, which means "victorious" in Swahili was founded in 2016, due to growing interest of items signifying African diaspora. They strive to celebrate all things coded "black" or "brown". We do that by bringing accessories related to the African diaspora to the forefront. Ushindi22 makes most of their products in Jacksonville, FL.

When Tasia Graham decided she wanted her own stationary company, she didn't waste a second getting it. The owner of Etsy shop Willow Skye Designs who holds a bachelor's degree in Advertising & Graphic Design, always loved weddings and invitations. That was her first inkling that she needed to have her own stationary company and in 2015 after the birth of her daughter, she launched her shop. Before going to school she worked in a call center and decided the mundane routine wasn't for her. Art was where her passion lay.

MY STORY Liquid Burnz I was suffering from hair loss when I started my company two years ago. All my teenage and adult life I've had long healthy hair and due to the chemicals in the products I was buying at my local Beauty Supplies stores my hair begin to thin and fall out. I suffered from scalp inflammation. Being from the islands Trinidad and Tobago my grandmother would make homemade oils, conditioners and shampoos. After losing my hair, I decided to go back to my roots and create my own products using only natural ingredients. I started making the products for family and friends as well and the feedback was phenomenal. My own hair started to flourish and grow back. I also created a men's line for beards and skin. All of my products are handcrafted and made with ingredients like Argan, avocado and castor oil. I am currently in a few local stores and expanding. I am also an educator and athletic trainer. - Teka
