MID PERFORMANCES

Tickets are now on sale for the midshipman classical recital Jan. 27 and winter musical Feb. 24-26 and March 2-4. This year’s musical is “South Pacific.” Call 410-293-8497 for more information or to order tickets. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

YOUTH CENTER LASER TAG

The Billy the Kid Youth Center is offering a trip to play laser tag for teens in 6-12 grade Feb. 4. Cost is $15 per teen, and transportation is provided from the youth center. For more information and to register, call Rhiannon DiMaggio at 410-293-4998.

WIZARDS TICKETS

ITT is offering discounted tickets to Washington Wizards games at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. Prices vary according to date and seating. For more information, call the ITT office at 410-293-9200.

GIFT SHOP CLOSURE

The Armel-Leftwich Visitors Center Gift Shop at Gate 1 will be closed for inventory Jan. 24. The Museum Store located in Preble Hall on Maryland Ave. will remain open.

High school students compete in Maryland’s FIRST robotics competition hosted on Jan. 14 in Dahlgren Hall at the U.S. Naval Academy. Eighteen teams with 6-10 students per team designed, implemented and programmed their own robots that participated in various challenges under the guidance of midshipmen.
