A Summer of Fun, Discovery, and Growth at Eton School

Get ready for an unforgettable summer for your child, where creativity, exploration, and learning come together in a fun-filled, enriching 8-week adventure! From 16 June to 8 August, our Summer Program offers a vibrant mix of camp experiences designed to ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and promote independence.

Our Montessori Summer Camp cultivates a love of learning by focusing on individual growth and social development. Through an enriching Montessori environment, students (new and returning) will be inspired academically, socially, and emotionally. Your child will flourish as they build confidence, strengthen friendships, and unlock their full potential in a supportive, structured setting.

Each week brings a new theme to our Clubhouse Camps, where children dive into imaginative worlds, embark on exciting activities that fuel their natural curiosity and create unforgettable memories. Plus, our extended day camp offers even more opportunities for enrichment, creativity, and relaxation in a fun and supportive environment.

That’s not all! We partner with Eton teachers and a variety of third-party vendors who bring their specialized summer camps to our campus. From sports to arts to science, your child will have the chance to explore new passions and talents while making lifelong memories.

Registration

There are three registration dates, depending on the student’s enrollment status at Eton School:

Wednesday, 26 February 2025, at 7:00 a.m.: Students Returning for 2025–2026 School Year

Wednesday, 5 March 2025, at 7:00 a.m.: New Students for 2025–2026 School Year

Wednesday, 2 April 2025, at 7:00 a.m. (Excludes Montessori Camp Registration): Students enrolled at Eton School for the 2024–2025 School Year but are not re-enrolled for the 2025–2026 School Year.

Registration is by the student’s grade in the Fall of the Academic Year 2025–2026.

Please note that children must be fully toilet trained to attend the Summer Program.

All registrations are completed online on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment is required upon registration. Registration is for the entire week unless indicated otherwise.

Spots will open in installments to accommodate for later registration dates. Any place that is not filled will be open on Monday, 2 April 2025.

Registration Closing:

For Summer Camps and Montessori Camps, registration closes at 7:00 a.m. on the Thursday before camp begins.

Clubhouse Camp and Extended Day Camp Registrations remain open until the week of camp.

If a camp is full, a waitlist is created. Any vacancy is filled up following the order on the waitlist.

A notification is sent in case of camp cancellation, and a refund is issued. Refund requests will be entertained only until Friday, 2 May 2025.

Summer Program: Information and Registration

Montessori Camps

Registration and enrollment is limited to students who will attend Eton School for the Academic Year 2025–2026.

Students attending half-day camps who need after-camp care must register for half-day Summer Clubhouse Camp.

If care is still needed after 4:00 p.m., registration to Summer Extended Care is required. Extended Care is available from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Registration is for the whole week and completed through the Portal.

Camper Must-Haves:

• Personal water bottles (labeled with name)

• Lunch (if enrolled for full day) placed in an insulated lunch box with ice pack, eating utensils, and napkin.

• P3 (age 3) and P4 students must have a change of clothes and if full day, a small blanket for rest time.

For new students, there will be additional forms to fill out before they can attending a Summer Montessori Camp. These forms are located on the Portal.

Lower Elementary (Grades 1, 2, and 3) Montessori Camp

Campers join our certified Montessori teacher, Lin Farmer, in Room 6 for a week of Montessori lessons and work cycle, with themed activities and outdoor play. During the week, campers participate in both group and individualized lessons. The week provides a valuable orientation to our Lower Elementary program.

Your child can join Karate-X for a challenging and fun summer experience! This camp has a special focus on the Japanese Martial Arts such as Karate, Judo, Kendo, and Ninjutsu. Campers will also be introduced to famous martial arts heroes and villains like the Samurai and Ninja, keeping it entertaining and fun! Each day includes physical and mental activities, games, and drills to build body and mind! Karate-X instructors challenge and motivate campers, building self-confidence and discipline. This camp is for all skill levels.

Carnival of Creativity: Digital Storytelling and Fabrication

Presented by: Build to Solve

Your child will start with an idea, awaken it on the screen, and bring it to life! At this camp, digital storytelling meets fabrication, which taps into the camper’s creativity across the entire STEAM spectrum. Campers start each day with a new theme and follow their imaginations through a series of activities. They will use digital art skills and coding to create characters and stories in Scratch Jr., a visual programming language that gives them a taste of coding. In addition, campers will bring their characters into the real world using fabrication principles. From building mini games to designing graphics, it is all about sparking ideas and using STEAM principles to tell stories. Sign your child up so they can find the exciting worlds waiting to be discovered in their imagination!

Jump Rope for Fun and Fitness Day Camp

This camp offers your child a week of action-packed fun, fitness, and skill-building with Ropeworks! Designed for jumpers of all skill levels—from beginners finding their rhythm to seasoned pros mastering advanced tricks—our highly acclaimed program is led by a team of experienced, high-quality instructors who are passionate about inspiring children to jump, play, and thrive. Your child will discover the joy of jump rope through a diverse range of exciting activities, including:

• Single Rope Skills: Learns cool tricks with personalized instruction tailored to the camper’s level.

• Buddy Jumping: Fosters mentorship and friendships as older jumpers guide younger ones.

• Shared Rope Routines: Works in pairs to create unique and synchronized routines.

• Long Rope Fun: Develops teamwork and coordination with exciting long rope exercises.

• Double Dutch: Dives into thrilling group play with tricks, turns, and dynamic teamwork.

• Small Group Routines: Collaborates on show-stopping routines, building confidence and creativity.

Each day kicks off with warm-up games and icebreakers, followed by hands-on practice, goal-setting, and team challenges. The session ends on a high note with Jump Rope Jam sessions, where campers celebrate their progress and newfound skills. The week concludes with an unforgettable performance for friends and family!

This camp isn’t just about jumping—it’s about fostering social-emotional learning, teamwork, patience, and perseverance, all in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Ropeworks is the creation of athlete entertainer and motivational speaker Rene Bibaud. Rene is a five-time world jump rope champion, ESPN commentator, and former artist and coach for Cirque Du Soleil. With over 40 years of experience, she has inspired children and educators worldwide through her highly acclaimed programs, combining her success-oriented skill development system with motivational messages and a focus on a growth mindset. As the founder of Ropeworks, she brings her passion and expertise to every camp, ensuring an impactful and engaging experience for every participant.

Full STEAM Ahead with Art in Motion

Let your child become a scientist and engineer for two weeks. This camp offers innovative STEAM activities that ignite curiosity and inspire creativity. Campers gain hands-on experience with science experiments as they build, tinker, and discover. They explore nature as they go outside, where they will uncover, collect, and investigate science further.

Collaboration and teamwork are encouraged and fostered as campers work together to solve challenges, share ideas, and learn from one another. Through group projects, team-building activities, and peer-to-peer collaboration, campers develop leadership, teamwork, and communication skills essential for success in STEAM and beyond!

Unlock your child’s creativity at Everlove Academy’s art camp, specially designed for preschool and kindergarten! Budding artists explore a vibrant world of color, texture, and imagination while learning foundational art concepts. Through fun, hands-on projects inspired by famous artists like Van Gogh and Monet, campers develop a deeper appreciation for art. They also embark on a cultural journey, painting African patterns, creating Japanese origami-inspired art, and exploring Native American designs. Along the way, campers gain confidence, improve fine motor skills, and enhance their problem-solving abilities while crafting beautiful artwork they will treasure. Public speaking is a lifelong skill, and this camp welcomes children of all ability levels. Whether your child is a shy beginner or an eager performer, they will benefit from confidence-building exercises tailored to their unique needs. With guidance from experienced instructors, campers unlock their potential, develop self-assurance, and gain the tools to express themselves with clarity and confidence. Amusement Park Engineering combined with STEAM Survivor

Presented by: Snapology

Get ready to ignite your child’s curiosity, spark their creativity, and fuel their passion for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. During the week, campers will participate in two camp sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Amusement Park Engineering (Morning): We bet your child loves going to amusement parks to experience the variety of fast, dropping, and spinning rides, but have they ever thought about the science that goes into building those rides and the people responsible for designing them? In Snapology’s Amusement Park Engineering, campers become engineers of their own amusement park rides and earn the core physics and engineering concepts used to make a ride thrilling!

STEAM Survivor (Afternoon): Are you ready for a challenge? This camp puts your child’s design, building, and critical thinking skills to the test! They are given daily challenges and must design functional solutions with their teammate! They earn Survivor Bucks when they perform well and can use them to purchase supplies or prizes throughout the camp. The goal of this camp is to encourage campers to carefully work through the engineering design process to see how they can design with a purpose.

Kids Drama Camp

Teacher: Kalsom Wali

Drama Camp presents the popular Norwegian tale of the “Three Billy Goats Gruff,” who loved to eat tender green grass. When the grass was gone, they thought they would cross over the rickety rackety bridge because the grass was greener on the other side. Who did they meet while crossing the bridge? None other than the voracious and mean troll! How did they reach their destination without being eaten by the troll?

This camp is for three weeks:

Week 1: Children listen to the story and get familiar with the characters, the plot, and the songs. Children start to learn lines and get comfortable acting out a role.

Week 2: Each student gets a role to play and starts memorizing lines. Stage-setting activities also begin. Children will work together to set the stage.

Week 3: Children start practicing from beginning to end, accompanied by a pianist.

Friends and family are invited to watch the performance on the last day of camp.

Exploring Sculpting and Animation

Presented by: Digipen’s Open World

For young learners, expressing themselves through art can be a crucial stage in their development, and the artwork they create often becomes cherished keepsakes. While they may have plenty of time to practice and improve their craft, it’s never too early to pick up some of the tried-and-true principles of animation and sculpting.

This introductory camp for Explorers shows young students the techniques that bring what they see in their minds into the real world through their art and sculptures. Instructors will guide campers through the basics of drawing, painting, and sculpting, leading to a better understanding of how to bring their creations to life from start to finish.

Campers can apply their new knowledge of design fundamentals by the end of camp to bring all their future artwork to life. Projects in this camp may include designing a Pokémon and sculpting a personal charm.

Journey Through Art Teacher: Lynette Oshiro

Campers discover the enriching world of cultural education through art! They will embark on a journey of exploration that offers a concrete and immersive experience—exploring art history and appreciation from around the world and famous classical artists such as Picasso, Van Gogh, and Monet. Art becomes a gateway to a world of diversity and a lens through which children can view the rich tapestry of global heritage.

Campers learn the elements and principles of design across various art domains, such as color theory, visual art, art techniques, and art forms. They will use their creativity and self-expression in a variety of mediums and textures. Art projects include drawing, painting, ceramics, textiles, weaving, embroidery, modeling clay, origami, yarn/string art, and more! Campers will cherish their masterpieces and experience a personal journey through art.

Snapology packs this summer camp with engineering or robotics programs and Lego® themed programs. Get ready to ignite your child's curiosity, spark their creativity, and fuel their passion for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. This week, the following camps are offered:

Animation Studio (Morning): Who doesn't love an action-packed animation movie that brings our favorite toys to life? In Snapology's Animation Studio program, campers get to do more than just enjoy those movies. They get to create them! In this technical program, campers work in teams to learn the fundamentals of stop-motion animation and develop their animated movie starring some of their favorite LEGO® mini-figures! They go through the entire movie-making process with their filming partner, from plot development and set design, to detailed visual and audio editing. The best part is that their movie will move beyond the classroom and be uploaded to Snapology's YouTube channel so they can share their film with friends and family for years to come!

Ninja Warriors (Afternoon): The goal of Snapology's Ninjas program is to teach campers about the history, culture, skills, and tactics of ninja warriors. Campers learn about shinobi through various building activities, games, and projects! From translating their name to Japanese to learning about the importance of strength, concentration, and agility through physical challenges, campers are bound to have a blast.

Fantasy Fox Den

Presented by: Epic Art

Cost: $243.75

Location: Main Building

In this enchanting summer camp, Mini Makers build a magical tree trunk cave for an adorable mini stuffed-animal fox. They will dive into hands-on, creative 3D construction, bringing their fox’s cozy home to life with oodles of tactile materials, including handmade clay, paper mâché, cardboard, natural twigs, mossy bits, and more. Each mini maker’s creation will be bursting with color and texture—inside and out—with thoughtful details like a handmade pillow, vibrant cave hues, and little comforts to make their sweet new fox friend feel right at home. This happy, hands-on camp is a wonderful place for mini-makers to dream big, build with their hands, and enjoy hours of imaginative play long after the camp ends. Please have campers bring clothes and shoes for getting messy and/or stained.

On the last day of camp, Friday, 18 July at 3:30 p.m., everyone is invited to an epic family celebration with walkabout exhibitions and treats!

Where the Gnomes Live

Presented by: Epic Art

A perfect camp for young creators who are ready to get their hands dirty and let their imaginations run wild! Together, we will build a whimsical, 3D mushroom-shaped house with a removable top! All week, young creators experiment with a variety of materials—wire, metal, paper mâché, clay, and natural and faux elements—constructing every part of the house, from handmade stone pathways to flower boxes, quirky windows, and textured fireplaces. The fun does not stop there! As we wrap up the exterior, we will dive into designing the awesome interior, adding hand-built wooden tables and chairs, unique floors and walls, and maybe even some framed artwork! By the end, they will have the coolest Gnome home in town—ready for endless imaginative play and sparking creativity and adventure long after camp ends! Please have campers bring clothes and shoes for getting messy and/or stained.

Machine Sewing

Whether your child is brand new to machine sewing or already has experience, this camp is designed to cater to all skill levels. All campers receive a full machine safety overview, after which campers new to machine sewing complete our beginner sewing curriculum while the more experienced can build on their existing skills, taking their sewing abilities to the next level! This camp is student-led, and campers advance at their own pace with autonomy over the projects they create. Projects include bags, backpacks, stuffies, games, clothing, accessories, and more. This camp is Little Hands Creation’s most popular and comprehensive one, where creativity knows no bounds!

STEAM Goes Medieval: Creating Castles & Catapults

During this camp, campers become engineers as they work in teams to build the strongest catapult and tallest tower they can. To conquer the challenge, they will learn about levers and mechanical advantage, building techniques, and balance. Along with becoming masterful engineers, campers tap into their creative side and make colorful birds and mascots to launch from the catapult. On the last day, teams face off to try and knock down their opponents' towers before their tower is tumbled, too.

Bear's Cozy Hideaway

Get your child ready for a fun-filled adventure where they will bring a vibrant 3D forest cave and garden to life for a mini stuffed-animal bear! Campers will build a cozy home and beautiful landscape for the bear by experimenting with all kinds of fun (and messy) materials like paper mâché, clay, natural wood, metal, faux fauna, paints, and mark-making tools. In addition, campers will create a picnic area complete with everything the bear could need for a forest feast. Please have campers bring clothes and shoes for getting messy and/or stained.

Your child can discover the magic of hand sewing with Little Hands Creations' summer camp! In this camp, young learners delve into a world of stitching, crafting, and creating with their own two hands. The experienced instructors guide campers through each step, ensuring they not only learn valuable sewing skills, but also develop fine motor abilities and enhanced finger dexterity. Exploring Sci-Fi Game Development

Many of today’s video games are created by large teams of specialists, but the basics of good game design are easy to learn at any age. In this sci-fi themed camp, campers dive into essential game design concepts through engaging, hands-on activities and learn how to build levels, design challenges, and structure gameplay. Instructors will guide campers step-by-step using Microsoft’s MakeCode Arcade platform to create simple games from scratch. By the end of the camp, campers will have developed their own retro-style sci-fi game and take it home on a handheld console to play and share. Projects in this workshop may include designing and building a spaceship for a scrolling platformer game and crafting a real-life space exploration game using outdoor objects.

The camp starts off gently with finger knitting, explores crochet hooks, and plays with user-friendly Knifty Knitter Looms. Throughout the week, campers dive into a variety of exciting projects. The Great Tree Trunk Escape

Your child will step into a world of imagination as we build a whimsical and exciting two-story tree trunk hideaway! Using cardboard, paper mâché, clay, wire, foil, and a mix of natural and faux materials, they will construct a cozy, 3D home full of character for our epic forest friends. What colors will they paint the walls? What miniature furniture, charming fireplaces, or bookshelf details will they bring to life? They will layer oodles of cool materials to create an authentic bark-inspired exterior for our hideaway. They will hand make everything from wooden ladders to dramatic staircases and whimsical mushrooms, as we explore messy, natural materials and surround their creation with garden flora and other magical touches. With an open side for easy access and play, this Epic Art two-story Tree Trunk Escape will be the perfect spot for endless fun, sparking creativity and adventure long after camp is over! No ice, no skates, no problem. Feel the heat with the hottest new youth sport to hit the Eastside in 2025: Floorball! Floorball is fast, fun, safe, affordable, and inclusive, with no experience required. Join Coach Salvatore and Emerald City Floorball this Summer as he brings his 40+ years of passionate ball hockey coaching and experience to this camp. Campers learn the fundamental skills of hockey while having fun doing it. Not only will your child learn these skills, but they will get to apply them in a competitive and fun interactive scrimmage. Everyone gets their daily dose of exercise while learning other skills such as healthy competition, teamwork, quick thinking, listening, and leadership.

Summer Clubhouse Camp: Grades P3–Grade 8

Summer Clubhouse Camp offers a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where campers can relax and enjoy a variety of engaging activities. Attending these camps is also a great way for new students to connect and meet their peers. Each week features an exciting theme with diverse activities, including crafts, outdoor play, rest time for P3 and P4 full-day campers, and plenty of opportunities for creativity, exploration, and active play.

Week 1: 16–20 June (No Camp on 19 June) Game On: Adventure

Week

Campers will dive into non-stop fun and excitement at Game On: Adventure Week. From thrilling team challenges to card games, brain-teasing puzzles, classic outdoor games, and everything in between, campers build skills, make friends, and create unforgettable memories.

Week 2: 23–27 June Pirate Fever

Have your child sail the high seas and explore the world of pirates and creatures of the deep. Campers will make a ship to captain, become pirates, and learn about what makes up the ocean with various creature crafts.

Week 3: 30 June–3 July (No Camp on 4 July) Home Hackers

Week

At Home Hackers Week, campers transform common household items into sources of endless fun and creativity! Campers discover the hidden potential of everyday objects and discover how the magic of adventure and learning can be found around the house.

Week 4: 7–11 July Animal Adventures

During Animal Adventures Week, campers explore the wonders of the animal kingdom through hands-on activities, a scavenger hunt, animal yoga, and creative crafts. Each day, campers encounter fascinating wildlife, learn about different species, and develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

Week 5: 14–18 July Space Explorers

The Space Explorer summer camp provides a fun introduction to space exploration. Campers learn about space history, astronomy, building rockets, making space art, and creating their sci-fi adventure.

Week 6: 21–25 July Fantasy World

Campers embark on magical adventures filled with enchanting stories, imaginative crafts, and playful quests. They will explore whimsical realms, create their own mystical creatures, and discover the joy of teamwork and creativity in a wonder-filled world.

Week 7: 28 July–1 August Builders and Engineers

This week is an action-packed adventure where campers become master creators and innovators! Each day bursts with exciting activities as young engineers design towering structures, craft incredible inventions, and solve thrilling challenges. It is a week filled with fun, discovery, and endless possibilities!

Week 8: 4–8 August Beach Summer Camp

This week-long camp provides a distinctive blend of traditional camp activities with a beach twist, including games, storytelling, crafts, and treasure hunts while learning about the environment.
