We believe in the worth and dignity of all people.
We learn, reflect, grow, and effect change through dialogue, education, and action.
We foster a community that acts with compassion, embraces discomfort, thinks critically, questions norms, and welcomes the world’s multiple perspectives.
We use our voices, challenge ourselves and others, and stand up for ourselves and others against injustice.
We champion, cultivate, and celebrate all members of our community so that we all participate as our full authentic selves, and thereby become stronger in our shared diversity.
We are pleased to announce our offerings for the Winter! The Winter session starts the week of 9 January and goes through 23 March 2023. Classes are for nine weeks, except for classes on Monday, which are for eight weeks, and classes on Friday, which are seven weeks. There are no after-school classes during the weeks of 6 February (Parent/Guardian Conference week) and 20 February (Midwinter break).
Some Fall classes are returning for Winter, along with new classes, such as Kids Carpentry, Architectural Art, and a Cooking class. For our P3-K students, we have a music class and Lego® building classes by Snapology.
For Grades 1-8, registration begins on Wednesday 7 December 2022, at 7:00 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis (with a wait list) and requires payment via credit card to secure a spot. Registration closes on 6 January 2023.
For Pre-elementary (P3-K), registration is on a lottery basis. Our class lottery registration policy is as follows:
• Registration for placement in a class lottery takes place between Wednesday, 7 December 2022, at 7:00 a.m. and Friday, 9 December 2022, at 7:00 a.m.
• The person registering the student(s) receives a confirmation email of entry into the lottery for the chosen class. Please check all junk mail/clutter folders if it does not arrive.
• Each class registration receives a number used in the lottery drawing through a random sequence generator on Friday, 9 December 2022, after registration closes. The person registering receives an email notification of the student’s placement either in the class or on the wait list.
• For those placed in a class, the email contains a link to an invoice for online payment using a credit card. The invoice payment must be received by 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 13 December 2022, to secure placement in the class. A payment confirmation email is sent upon completion of paying an online invoice. Any placements not secured are offered to the students on the wait list.
• If a class is not full by 14 December 2022, registration, including payment, will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with payment invoices emailed to the person who submitted the registration.
Requests for refunds will only be entertained if made by 13 January 2022. All classes have a minimum number of students required before being offered. Failure to reach the minimum will result in a cancellation of the class. A notice of cancellation will be sent, and refunds will be processed.
If you have any questions or a class suggestion for our program, please get in touch with our Auxiliary Program Coordinator, Sharon Gonzalez, at (425) 881.4230 ext. 133 or SGonzalez@etonschool.org.

At Bach to Rock®, we know that music, storytelling, and play are powerful teaching tools—especially when they’re used together! Our music classes for preschoolers combine these three elements to get kids excited about music. Each Rock City class includes a musical concept, instrument, and story time component. We teach musical concepts through the story and its themes. At the same time, we demonstrate how this concept works on the musical instrument. This gives preschoolers a fun and easy way to build musical skills. Students get early experience with instruments like the hand drum and glockenspiel! Our preschool music classes help students build a strong foundation of musical skills. Through Rock City, students learn basic skills for reading music, playing basic arrangements, and understanding more complex musical concepts!
