Statement of Diversity

We foster a community that acts with compassion, embraces discomfort, thinks critically, questions norms, and welcomes the world’s multiple perspectives.

We use our voices, challenge ourselves and others, and stand up for ourselves and others against injustice.

We champion, cultivate, and celebrate all members of our community so that we all participate as our full authentic selves, and thereby become stronger in our shared diversity.

In educating the whole child, Eton School inspires creative, confident thinkers who have an enduring passion for learning and are poised to contribute to the world.

Vision

We believe in the worth and dignity of all people.

We learn, reflect, grow, and effect change through dialogue, education, and action.

For Pre-Elementary (P3 to K), registration is on a lottery basis. Our class lottery system is as follows:

Fall After-School Classes 26 September through 9 December

• Registration for placement in a class lottery opens on Monday, 12 September 2022, at 7:00 a.m. and closes on Thursday, 15 September 2022, at 7:00 a.m.

• For those placed in a class, the email contains a link to an invoice for online payment using a credit card. A payment confirmation email is sent upon completion of paying the online invoice. We must receive the invoice payment by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, 19 September 2022, to secure placement, or else the unsecured placement is offered to a student on the waitlist.

Welcome to the Fall session of our After School Classes Program. The program seeks to provide a wellrounded after-school experience that supports the learning happening during the school day. There will be three sessions of after-school classes throughout the year- Fall, Winter, and Spring. The Fall session will have eight weeks, starting the week of 26 September through the week of 5 December.

• Offers of placement to students on a waitlist are completed via an email with a link to an invoice for online payment using a credit card. A payment confirmation email is sent upon completion of paying the online invoice. Payment must be received by 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, 22 September 2022, to secure placement, or else the unsecured placement is offered to the next student on the waitlist.

• If a class is not full by Monday, 19 September 2022, registration changes to a first-come, first-served basis with payment invoices emailed to the person who submitted the registration.

For classes offered to the other levels, registration opens on 12 September 2022 at 7:00 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis and requires payment via credit card to secure a spot at the time of registration. A waitlist is created when spots are filled. Registration ends on Friday, 23 September 2022.

If you have any questions or a class suggestion for our program, please contact our Auxiliary Program Coordinator, Sharon Gonzalez, at (425) 881.4230 ext. 133 or SGonzalez@etonschool.org

All classes have a minimum number of students required, and failure to reach the minimum results in the cancellation of the class. We notify the person who registered of any cancellations and automatically process a refund. For any other reasons, requests for refunds will only be entertained if made by 22 September 2022.

• Each class registration receives a number, which is used in the lottery drawing through a random sequence generator on Thursday, 15 September 2022. The person registering receives an email notification of the student’s placement either in the class or on the waitlist for the class.

• The person registering the student(s) receives a confirmation email of entry into the lottery for the chosen class. Please check the junk/spam/other mail folders if it is not in the inbox.
