As Founder and Chairman of the Ethnic Business Awards, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 36th Annual Gala Presentation Dinner.

These awards were created to celebrate the remarkable achievements of migrants and Indigenous Australians who, against the odds, have built businesses that enrich our nation. Their journeys of courage, resilience, and vision remind us that diversity is one of Australia’s greatest strengths.

Tonight, we honour not only the success of our finalists, but the values they embody — perseverance, innovation, and hope.

Congratu evening.

The Office for Multicultural Affairs within the Department of Home Affairs aims to promote understanding, equity, participation and inclusion across Australia’s diverse society.

In modern multicultural Australia, all people regardless of their cultural and linguistic background, should have the opportunity to participate fully, contribute meaningfully, and belong.

The Ethnic Business Awards, showcase and celebrate the contributions of our truly talented communities. Congratulations to all nominees and recipients

Nestled in the heart of the Coal River Valley along the road to historic Richmond Village, Coal River Farm is the vision of Daniel and Melanie Leesong. What began as a humble dream - dabbling in crafty pursuits and growing vegetables - quickly blossomed into a celebration of Tasmania’s finest produce. With five children roaming the farm and a shared passion for creating, the Leesong family has built a place where fresh, unique products and award winning cheeses and chocolates bring joy to every visitor. 634 Richmond Rd Cambridge TAS www.coalriverfarm.com.au @coalriverfarm
