1. Can you tell us about NUTRL Skin?
NUTRL Skin is an ultra-clean, high-performance skincare line created for both men and women Our mission is simple: to make skincare effortless, effective, and accessible without compromising quality Every formula is designed to neutralize skin stressors like pollution, aging, and dryness, using powerful ingredients backed by science and nature.
2. What led you to create NUTRL Skin?
After 25+ years in front of the camera as an actor, I’ve tried a myriad of different skin care products and brands I’ve always felt skincare was over priced, over complicated or just simply not effective - especially for men who often feel left out of the skincare conversation I wanted to create a gender-neutral, simple, four step routine that takes the guess work out of the cluttered, often overwhelming, skincare market. Having struggled with acne as a teenager, while having sensitive skin as an adult, it was important to maintain an emphasis on formulating, clean, gentle products, suitable for all skin types With the focus of these cutting edge formulations being on hydration, promoting collagen production and overall anti-aging I’ve always taken wellness seriously, and the idea grew out of our shared passion for healthy living and real results.
3. What are your favorite places that you have traveled to?
I’ve always been drawn to places that feel grounding and restorative, with a beauty and majesty that delivers a sense of awe, putting you right in the present moment Some favorites include the Amalfi Coast, Costa Rica, and anywhere with breathtaking beaches and soul-nourishing energy Traveling has inspired a lot of our creative direction for NUTRL too, nature always has a way of reminding you to keep things pure and essential.
4. How do you balance work life and your personal life?
It’s all about intention I try to be fully present wherever I am, whether it's on set, in a strategy meeting, or enjoying a quiet
night in I also make time to unplug, and get out in nature, which helps me recharge and keeps me grounded Daily meditation and journaling also play a huge role in my work life balance
5. Are there any exciting projects you are working on?
Aside from growing NUTRL SKIN, expanding our partnerships into wellness and fitness spaces we have some other exciting brand collaborations, like the 12th Annual Celebrity Hamptons Even by Ticket2Events Personally, I also have a couple movies hitting theaters this year A horror film called “Possession at Gladstone Manor ” and an action comedy called, “Boris is Dead ”
6. Do you have any upcoming travel trips?
Yes we’re planning a few work-meets-play trips for the summer, mixing in some content shoots and press opportunities with time to relax and reset We’ll definitely be making the rounds this summer: Miami, The Hamptons and Europe
7. Do you have any skincare tips or beauty hacks when traveling?

1 Can you tell us about yourselves?
We began our journey in the most spontaneous of ways. To say it was serendipitous would be an understatement. Davey was born and raised in Scotland before moving to London and I (Omie) was born in California but moved to New York City before settling in Chicago In 2022, shortly after the formal ending of COVID, Davey was traveling to Miami for a conference He was there for a few days and upon getting there, the conference was canceled He tried moving his flight but the tickets were astronomical to he stayed through the weekend I had just arrived back to Chicago after a month-long trip and was interviewing for a job that I wasn’t sure I’d take but for the final interview, they had me visit Miami. I almost declined the interview but my therapist said: If you go and love it, you have a new life ahead If you hate it, you at least got a free trip out of it And so I went to Miami for 48 hours On our last day, we met in person after connecting on a dating app, and the rest is history We’ve done long distance for a few years now, across the UK and U S We have traveled to over 30 countries Life is good, and oh-so spontaneous
2.You’ve traveled to some incredible places together what destination has surprised you the most in terms of LGBTQ+ inclusivity, and why?
We were pleasantly surprised when we visited St Lucia When we first chose the location, we were naive and didn’t look into the laws until all had been planned and reserved It was one of the first countries we visited together where same-sex activity was illegal, so we were extremely nervous but we decided that we’d go ‘back into the closet’ if we needed to But we didn’t We spent a few days in North St Lucia, where we booked a well reviewed resort and here is where we felt welcomed in a way we hadn’t before. When we checked in, I told the front desk staff that it was Davey’s birthday and they went out of their way to place a birthday message on the bed, and even gave us a complimentary bottle of bubbly Not only that, when we went to have dinner the evening, the Chef came out and sang happy birthday to Davey, where he ended by shaking our hands and saying, ‘In St Lucia, everyone is welcome ’ Not only was the country itself gorgeous but the hospitality was beyond what we expected We felt this too in the South of St Lucia, where we finished our trip.
We have so many countries, but another one was Marrakech. Unbeknownst to us, we actually booked a riad that was owned by a gay couple and the host was beyond welcoming and respectful of our relationship We had no issues throughout the Medina, French Quarter and beyond It was a really great experience, and we’re looking forward to visiting again
3 What are your favorite places that you’ve traveled to?
So many! But South Africa stands out as our all-time favorite it truly blew us away. From LGBTQ+ inclusivity to breathtaking
landscapes, vibrant cuisine, and the chance to hike, swim in two oceans, sip wine, and go on safari all in one trip it had everything
We also love Kotor, Montenegro a scenic, peaceful gem surrounded by mountains and perfect swimming water. It’s our go-to reset spot. And Tromsø, Norway was unforgettable for a cozy winter escape, especially seeing the Northern Lights and feeding reindeer We can’t wait to explore more places together Mexico, Iceland, and Brazil are next on our list!
4 What are your go-to tips for LGBTQ+ couples traveling to destinations that may not be traditionally queer-friendly?
First and foremost: do your research Understand the local laws and attitudes toward LGBTQ+ people. If a country’s policies make you feel deeply uncomfortable, it’s okay to skip it. If you're unsure, dig deeper look for recent news or traveler experiences If there’s been anti-LGBTQ+ activity in the past year, we usually recommend choosing another destination That said, in our experience, many countries with anti-gay laws don’t actively enforce them like in Malaysia or the Maldives It’s about balancing your safety with your desire to explore, and always being informed
A few other practical tips:
If uncomfortable, always book two separate beds and join them at night. Save yourself the anxiety.
Have a story as to how you know each other (friends, colleagues, etc) in case immigration asks We’ve not had this asked before but it’s always good to just have
When searching for accommodations, try Misterbnb or look for the LGBT-friendly tag, which booking com and Airbnb have now
Make sure someone knows your itinerary, just in case And this is a standard anyway, gay or not, because you never know what can happen.
Lastly, respect local customs. Don’t forget that you are in their home country, so be mindful You’ll find that people don’t care what you do and who you are, but they do care how respected they feel and how you express that in their home
5. How has traveling together strengthened your relationship, and are there any moments on the road that stand out as truly defining for you both?
Absolutely Traveling can be so transformative for couples, but especially for gay couples Early on in our relationship, we found it difficult to go from ‘no touch’ to physical affection again Some countries were harder to navigate than others, so we had to go back in the closet for a few days, and that comes with such mental pressure and emotional exhaustion. When we’d go back home, it’d be like starting all over again. Reintroducing touch, affection, etc. But once we got over that and understood that this is what would be required for visiting certain countries, and being the travelers that we are, our love grew for one another We started to appreciate the freedom that our home cities allow us and the freedoms that we have in general, as oppose to other more regressive, oppressive countries We value our relationship more, but also our activism for the global LGBTQ+ community Even if it’s as small as empowering our brothers and sisters to safely travel the world far and wide through Traveling Boyfriends.
6 Do you have any upcoming travel plans?
Yes! Later in June, we’re off to Galway, Ireland for a short weekend trip In August, we’re going to Amsterdam for their Pride parade In September, we’re off to Bulgaria In October, we’re off to Turks and Caicos and Mexico In November, we’re off to New York City and in December, we’re off to Brazil!
7 Representation matters! How do you hope your content inspires or empowers other LGBTQ+ individuals or couples who dream of seeing the world?
Activism looks different for everyone and although our platform might seem small to some people, it feels important to us When we first started traveling, we didn’t see many LGBTQ+ travel creators speaking about the countries we dreamed of visiting but were too nervous to, so that’s where Traveling Boyfriends
started. We wanted to see firsthand what it would be like for a gay couple to visit Dubai or Morocco, and so we hope our platform shows gay travelers that this world is theirs, too That they can visit places they’ve wanted to visit like Petra or Pyramids of Giza, and do it safely And, ultimately, see that the world might surprise them The majority of the locals we’ve spoken to never represent their government’s when it comes to anti-gay rhetoric and laws
Visibility matters. People often tell us ‘why spend your pink dollars in a country that doesn’t want you to exist.’ And that’s a very valid point, but erasing ourselves from being seen is scarier. If more of us show up to tell the world we’re here and we’re not going anywhere, the more chance we have to effect change Saudi Arabia just changed their tourism page to say ‘everyone is welcome to visit ’ That right there is change
We hope gay travelers feel confident and assured in traveling far and wide because the world is bigger than the box we’re told to inhabit. We deserve to take us as much space as everyone else. Our goal is that Traveling Boyfriends becomes a place where they find comfort in our firsthand experiences, safety in our gayfriendly recommendations, and richness in what the world has to offer them

1. Can you tell us about yourself?
Hi, I'm Bry I'm a 32 year old entrepreneur and digital nomad, and love traveling the world while building BryGuides, my online business that helps people use credit card points to travel better I'm passionate about exploring new places, learning about different cultures, and finding smarter ways to travel I speak three languages and am learning a fourth, and I love exercising, hiking, diving, and skiing My love for travel started early, during family trips out West, especially to Yosemite National Park. That passion grew when I studied abroad in college and later minored in German in addition to my Finance Degree. After graduating, I had the opportunity to work for a German company, which let me travel frequently between the U S and Europe and deepened my connection to travel even more
I’m also a gay man who spent nearly a decade living in New York City, building a career in finance and tech It was an exciting time, but also a high-pressure environment, and eventually, I felt the pull to break away from that lifestyle That’s when I really started traveling more, and everything changed.
2. Can you tell us about your business and why you started it?
My business, BryGuides, started by accident while I was working in finance in New York City Travel was my way to decompress, but it wasn’t cheap so I got obsessed with credit card points, airline miles, and loyalty programs I taught myself how to get the most value out of every point, and things clicked when I planned a trip to South America with friends The flights were expensive, but by using points strategically, I found a way to book the same itinerary for a fraction of the cost. My friends were shocked and told me I should do this for others.
That moment inspired me to turn it into a business. I built a plan, started posting travel tips daily on Instagram, and the word spread quickly through friends and referrals What started as a passion became a full-time job by last September, when I left my career in finance to grow BryGuides full-time Today, BryGuides is a consulting and concierge service that helps clients unlock incredible travel using their credit card points I work one-on-one to map out card strategies and use my knowledge of loyalty programs to help people fly farther and better without breaking the bank.
3 What are your favorite places that you have traveled to? That’s always a tough question, but one of my absolute favorites is Rio de Janeiro, Brazil The people especially the Cariocas have this unmatched energy and joy that makes everyday life feel electric I often say if energy were a currency, Brazil would be the richest country on earth Rio blends everything I love: stunning beaches, lush mountains, a vibrant outdoor culture, and a real city vibe with great food and transit. While you need to be mindful and take precautions, it’s an inspiring place that makes me feel alive every time I visit.
Europe
One of my favorite regions to visit is Europe especially the Mediterranean in summer. The food, the coastline, and the slower pace of life make it the perfect place to unplug and reset. I love the cultural richness too so many languages, cuisines, and traditions packed into a small area Spain, Italy, Croatia, and Greece are favorites, but I’m excited to explore lesser-known spots like Albania and Montenegro this summer
Southeast Asia
Southeast Asia is another favorite The people are incredibly warm and generous, and the region is full of vibrant culture, temples, and amazing food especially in Thailand With its stunning nature, clear waters, and incredible diving around places like the Gili Islands in Indonesia, it’s a dream for adventure and relaxation. Plus, it’s budget-friendly, which makes it perfect for younger or long-term travelers
4 How do you balance work life and your personal life?
For me, I have a pretty consistent routine that keeps me grounded and productive, no matter where in the world I am It includes both physical exercise and mental wellness, things like working out, meditating, and journaling I’ve found that striking a balance between physical and mental health is essential, especially when you're running your own business. Since I work for myself, staying focused and motivated is critical. One approach that’s really helped me is breaking my time into what I call “sprints and chills ” I’ll go heads-down and work intensely for a stretch, then build in time to rest, recharge, or take on something adventurous, like a four-day unplugged trek on the Inca Trail
That rhythm of sprinting toward a goal, then stepping back to reflect and reset, helps me stay balanced and intentional It’s a structure that’s become especially important as an entrepreneur, where you constantly have to goal-set, pivot, and be accountable just to yourself.
5 Are there any exciting projects you are working on?
I’ve got a lot of exciting things on my roadmap, but one of the biggest is the recent launch of my concierge business It’s a bundled service that brings together several key offerings like one-on-one consulting, personalized points deal-finding, and
more advanced support like personal and business spend audits
The business audits are especially exciting because they let me combine my background in finance with travel strategy I take a company’s spending, run it through a model, and deliver targeted recommendations showing exactly how much more travel value they could unlock by optimizing their credit card and points strategy As I continue getting client feedback and refining the service, this concierge offering is quickly becoming a core part of my business, and it’s opening the door to even more exciting projects that are on the horizon.
6. Do you have any upcoming travel?
Yes, I have some really exciting travel coming up this summer The one I’m most excited about is flying my parents on Emirates Business Class It'll be their first time experiencing that level of luxury in the air, and we’re heading to Wimbledon, which is especially meaningful because my mom is a huge tennis fan We’ll be flying to Milan first, then on to London for the tournament I’m also really looking forward to flying on the Emirates A380 with that iconic onboard bar, and I know it’s going to be a really special memory with my parents After that, I’m planning a trip through the Mediterranean with one of my best friends. We’re going to explore Albania and Montenegro, two countries that have been high on my list and are quickly becoming popular spots in Europe on the Mediterranean I’m excited not just to experience them for myself, but also to better advise clients who are looking for less-crowded, up-and-coming destinations in the region
7 What does travel mean to you? Why do you feel it’s important?
Travel is important to me because it has been such an important part of my own personal growth and journey toward finding myself It offers you a chance to step away from the routines, stresses, and patterns of everyday life - and then you come back with a renewed sense of energy and perspective. There’s nothing quite like travel to push you outside your comfort zone and help you better understand who you are, how you respond, what triggers you, and where you can grow
A big part of why I started this company is because I want to help more people experience the joy of travel and intercultural exchange The more you’re exposed to people and places that are different from you, the more your capacity for understanding and empathy grows, which I’ve experienced firsthand And I believe those qualities, empathy and understanding, are more essential now than ever.
Not to sound too cliche, but I truly think a lot of the issues we’re facing in the world today stem from a lack of understanding Travel breaks that down It shows you how other people live, what they value, and what they struggle with and it humanizes the things that might otherwise feel distant or abstract, and helps shine a light on our shared humanity. Solo travel, in particular, has been transformative for me It’s pushed me outside of my comfort zone and forced me to engage, listen, and learn in ways I wouldn’t have otherwise It’s helped me understand the deeper forces, historical, political, and social, that shape cultures and create the imbalances we see across the world
Travel helps you learn more about yourself, deepens your relationships with the people you journey with, and most importantly, opens your eyes to the world around you in a way that’s hard to unsee
8 What is one thing you always tell your clients?
