Phonemes Pronunciation Guide

This DVD shows you how to pronounce the 44 phonemes of the English language in a pure way in order to help children to hear the sounds in words and so aid their blending for reading and segmenting for spelling. The film shows children and adults pronouncing all the sounds and then linking these to the Read Write Inc. Speed Sounds Cards which have mnemonics to aid memory. There is also a section for teachers and parents to practise pronouncing the pure sounds.
