transition-to-work education programme for
young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan.
What is Project SEARCH?
Project SEARCH is a one-year supported internship programme for students with an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP).
Students complete their internship in a real workplace within Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council with the support of a job coach and department mentor. Interns also attend a day in the classroom attending sessions that focus on employability and independent living skills. These sessions are delivered on-site at Redcar and Cleveland College
