Whether you’re interested in short films, documentaries, music videos or full length features, our Film & TV Production course will give you the skills you need to bring your ideas to life. We have excellent links with industry, local businesses and you’ll have the opportunity to work within our student production company, UFilms.

FILM & TV PRODUCTION

LEVEL 3 - 2 YEARS WHAT WILL I DO?

You will gain valuable on-set experience including directing, camera techniques, filming and editing, screenwriting for film, television and production management. The course can lead to a range of careers including cinematography, directing, producing, screenwriting, editing and many more on set roles. You will learn using industry-standard cameras, sound equipment and post production software while carrying out a range of productions and assignments which are based on realistic workplace demands.

YOU NEED:

A passion for all things film and television and a determination to succeed, plus four GCSEs grade 4 or above, including English and/or maths.

WHAT’S NEXT?

You could go on to university to study degrees in areas such as film and television production, broadcast or multimedia journalism and film or media studies. Or you could progress to a production role within the industry.
