STANDARD DELIVERY

The final mile is where impressions are made, and residential customers expect deliveries to be simple, clear, and reliable. That’s why our standard delivery is designed to meet your customers’ needs while providing peace of mind.
Standard “Front Door” Delivery:
» No appointment or signature is required
» Customer receives a secure tracking link to view shipment updates
» Shipment is delivered to the porch, garage, driveway, or nearest covered area—depending on accessibility

In the event that a delivery appointment is requested, we will provide your customer with a contact-free delivery experience.
DELIVERY EXCEPTIONS
In some cases, obstacles may prevent us from reaching the porch, garage, driveway, or a covered area. When this happens, your Final Mile shipment may be placed at the end of your driveway or in another safe, accessible spot.
Common obstacles include:
» Streets narrower than 10 feet
» Gravel driveways
» Steps or steep inclines leading to the home
» Low-hanging branches, overhead wires, or other safety concerns

COMMERCIAL DELIVERY
NO DOCK? NO PROBLEM.
Not every business has a loading dock, but that shouldn’t mean delivery headaches for you or your customers. Estes makes non-dock deliveries simple with the reach, equipment, and expertise to get the job done right.
With nearly 7,000 next-day lanes, 300+ liftgate-equipped terminals, and skilled drivers using specialized equipment, we deliver safely and reliably to businesses like retail stores in strip malls, restaurants, construction sites, schools, and more.
At Estes, we know all Final Mile shipments shape how your customers see your business, so we make sure each one feels reliable and stress-free. Because delivering for your customers is how we deliver for you.
Our non-dock commercial delivery services include:

» Options for setting a standing delivery window
» Liftgate-equipped delivery vehicles, including straight trucks

GUIDELINES & EXCEPTIONS

While Estes’ Final Mile Delivery is designed to make residential and non-dock deliveries simple and dependable, to keep everything running smoothly for you and your customers, here are a few important guidelines to keep in mind:
ALL DELIVERIES:
» Palletized shipments: Maximum size is 60” x 48” x 84” and 1,500 lbs., with side entry for pallet jack
» Loose pieces: Maximum size is 96” x 48” x 36” and 75 lbs.
» Street access: Streets must be at least 10 feet wide to allow for safe delivery
RESIDENTIAL DELIVERIES:
» Driveway access: Driveway must be paved, clear, and able to support a delivery vehicle (no gravel)
» Obstacles: Access should be free of steps or steep inclines, low-hanging branches, overhead wires, or other safety concerns
» Unattended delivery: If the place of purchase doesn’t require a signature, we can deliver without the customer present
