MARBELLA – FIRST CITY GRANTED COVID-SAFE STATUS Marbella recently became the first Spanish city to obtain the COVID-safe certificate, granted by the Instituto para la Calidad Turística Española (ICTE). The latter’s Director, Fernando Fraile, praised the Marbella Town Hall for having “worked for various months” to adopt sanitary measures that could help reduce the spread of the virus. These measures include disinfection of specific areas and controlling the capacity of beaches. i www.marbella.es
