4. Engels 4.1 Business plan Voor de eerste opdracht voor het vak Engels moesten we een business plan maken met onze groep. Hierin lichten we onze onderneming, onze doelen, onze doelgroep, een SWOT-analyse, onze marktsituatie en onze financiële verwachtingen van ons bedrijf toe. Vervolgens hebben we ons business plan ook gepresenteerd aan de hand van een PowerPointpresentatie. Op de volgende pagina’s vindt u de presentatie terug.

4.1.1 Business idea CAMP KING is a company that is specialised in camping equipment. We use green energy and give old backpacks a new lease of life by recycling them. The reason behind this, is because we are a company that strives for corporate social responsibility. Our name, CAMP KING, symbolizes a kingdom. We are the kings of the market and in the business of camping. Our company wants to help the environment. This is also our number 1 goal, because we want to be a durable company. Another goal is to be well-known around the world. Product quality, good customer service, innovation and solution orientation are very important to us. When our customers think about CAMP KING, these words will certainly come to mind.

4.1.2 Company objectives Business objectives In the next 5 years, at least 3 offices in Europe Realise a yearly raise of the share price of at least 25%, for the next 5 years. In the next 3 years, open up our own brand store in Belgium, Antwerp and North Switzerland Be more durable Personal Objectives • High satisfaction of our personnel • To win different awards so that people label us as trustworthy In our last financial year, we achieved a business profit of exactly 8,718 million euros. We have a big profit and we believe it will keep increasing. CAMP KING is planning to expand internationally. Our current and capital assets make a total of around 50 million euros, so putting 6 million in every subsidiary seems achievable for now. We still have to do some research as in where we want to place our offices for the lowest cost. Once we found the ideal locations our profit will multiply by at least 2. That is of course, after they are all built. We don't expect them to be as big as the parent company, because that would be too expensive. Maybe later we can expand the bestselling subsidiaries. Within a month or less we will know our first building location. It is also estimated that the construction work for each new office will take at least a year. Our goal is to have all this done in 5 years. The reason for not building one big subsidiary is because we cannot confirm success abroad. The difference in share price of the last two financial years is around 20%, so it has risen. With our current expertise and marketing skill, we can easily maintain this raise for the next 5 years. Therefore, our share would be worth around 1,800 euros after five years. We believe that after our new offices are built and running, our shares will know an even greater increase. Right now our company sells products to other companies who sell to the consumers, but we also have our own store. Because we are settled in Belgium, it would be logical that our brand
