Youth MFRC Youth Programs
Register for any of the following PSP Youth Programs by contacting PSP Recreation at 250-363-1009 or in-person at the Colwood Pacific Activity Centre (CPAC) or Naden Athletic Centre Kiosks. You can also save time by registering online.
The MFRC is committed to supporting youth and family wellness. Staff at the centre work with youth between the ages of 12-19 years old who are experiencing mental health, social, and emotional challenges. The Esquimalt MFRC provides a variety of services for youth and their families including: • Individual counselling • Family counselling • Groups and workshops • Support navigating mental health systems • Referrals • Resources Additionally, the MFRC works with local community partners to provide opportunities for youth and families. These include: • Presentations/workshops: FamilySmart ‘In the know’ presentations offered monthly to parents, providing information on various topics pertaining to youth mental health • Volunteering: Volunteer opportunities with the MFRC and other local organizations
