Father's Day Contest

June is a great month to celebrate dads! Watch for our announcement of our virtual Father's Day Contest! The MFRC is creating new ways to celebrate while keeping you (covid) safe! We will posting a photo of a jar full of ju jubes at esquimaltmfrc.com and on our social media! Simply guess the number in the jar! You could win one of several fabulous prizes! This contest is open to everyone! Are you a dad, have a dad, dad to a fur child, a grandfather, a father figure ... you want to honour dad's ... then this is for you!

Story Book Walks

Join PSP in exploring the world of imagination and exploration one book at a time. We are excited to present the Story Book walk once again. We will have stories posted during the timeframes posted below. We ask that you please respect the posts and pages and let us know if anything is missing so we replace it for all others to experience the fun. Books will be placed in a walking circle in both Belmont Park and in Esquimalt! May 3-7 Location: Belmont Park and Esquimalt June 14-18 Cost: Free July 12-16 Please see our Facebook page for a August 9-13 complete map of the story book walk at each location.

Pandem-Pocalypse BYOB Nerf Battles

Next level “Bring Your Own Blaster” Nerf Battles hosted by IRL Battle Arena. We will play a range of games including RvB capture the flag, pandemic, and battle royale. All personal blasters must arrive with all magazines, clips and/ or hoppers fully loaded with standard Elite-compatible darts or approved Rival-compatible balls, and may leave the event equally loaded. In accordance with PHO health orders all participants must be age 21 or under. Minimum age 7 years. Players must bring and wear their own mask and safety glasses while indoors. Class C-“Spring Class” Nerf Battles Only blasters shooting standard Elite-compatible Darts or Rival-compatible balls permitted. NO MOTORIZED OR MODIFIED BLASTERS. Players my borrow one of our clean and sanitized dart blasters for free, or bring their own unmodified spring-powered blasters that shoot darts or balls. Location: CPAC Cost: $15 per player Class A-“Open Class” Nerf Battles All players can use our clean and sanitized Rival Helios blasters with spare clip, OR they can bring their own “Open-Class” blasters and ammo. Motorized and legally modified blasters shooting Elite-compatible darts or Rival-compatible foam balls are permitted!! Programming has been reduced to ensure the safety of our participants. We are only offering programming that will allow for social distancing and proper sanitization of the equipment. Whenever possible, events and programming will switch to a virtual platform when in person is not recommended. If this is possible, no refund will be given. Laser Tag in the Forest

Ready! Set! Pew Pew Pew!! Brought to you by IRL Battle Arena. Let’s blow off some steam with our pandemic friendly laser tag games. Played outdoors on our forest course (or indoors in the gym if it rains) these games are safe, contactless fun for all ages.
