WHAT'S HAPPENING IN & AROUND TOWN Yes it’s cold and so hard to get up in the morning, but I must say the sunsets have been pretty amazing. As I feel my skin becoming lighter by the minute, it is nice to catch a few rays whilst we can. And whilst winter is in full swing, the amount of things to do is defiantly not lacking. ‘Songs From The Southern Edge’ Album Launch is coming up on Saturday, 24th of June at the Cannery Arts Centre. The Album features many local artists and can be purchased on the night. Book your ticket in advance - details page 7. Pop into the Esperance Motor Hotel afterwards to see local favourite Tom Clark play from 8.30pm till late. Young actors from Esperance Anglican Community School are performing ‘The PHOTOGRAPHY CREDIT: LUCY VINCENT Bugalugs Bum Thief’ over two weekends at the Bijou Theatre. Suitable for all ages, I would recommend taking the whole family! More details via the What’s On page at www.esperancetide.com. Tailtap Skate Clinics are back on the 24th of June. The clinic is now booked out, but that doesn’t stop you from heading down to see the kid’s skills and how they have advanced over the last couple of months. ‘Keep Esperance Beautiful’ clean up day is on again on Sunday 25th June at 9am starting at the Andrew St foreshore. Followed by a cuppa and ice-cream (donated by McDonalds) at 11am. Register and collect bags and gloves at the foreshore carpark by the roundabout. The ‘Keep Australia Beautiful‘ judging for the ‘Tidy Towns Award’ is on the next day at 10.30am at the community bush tucker garden for those interested. Help keep our town beautiful by doing your bit! Stay warm Esperance!
