WHAT'S HAPPENING IN & AROUND TOWN This week is French Week in Esperance, and to celebrate the Bijou Theatre is holding a French Film Night on Friday at 6.30pm. Tickets are only $20 (available from the Library) which includes a glass of wine, cheese tasters and the French movie ‘My Afternoons with Marguerite’. Esperance Cycling Club’s Tour de Esperance is on Sunday starting at 8am at the Whale Tail, finishing with presentations at a Frenchthemed Museum Village markets. On se verra là bas! Head down to the Esperance Motor Hotel on Saturday (July 22nd) for some live acoustic acts by local talents. Salty Fit Personal Training is holding a Boot Camp every Saturday (starting this Saturday) at 8am at the Port Authority Park. The cost to join in is only $10 and the first two weeks are free. Bring water! Attention WAFL fans - Subiaco and Claremont are set to face off in a league game at Ports Oval this Saturday (15th). Game starts at 1.10pm. Player’s from Subiaco will be helping teach the younger ones a few tricks at the Auskick Clinic on Friday (14th).
