WHAT'S HAPPENING IN & AROUND TOWN After a morning swim at Westies, I chuck on some warm trackies and a pair of Stockpile socks because Autumn is upon us... There is a few things happening this fortnight, like the Magic Carpet Ride held at the Bijou theatre on the 12th & 13th of May. More details on page 4. Kasey Chambers is playing at the Civic Centre this Friday (May 5th) with limited tickets still available. Head to our what’s on page at esperancetide.com for details on how to book. I recently popped into the (new) Esperance Cafe which is perfectly located in the heart of the Museum Village and has a mouth watering lunch menu consisting of mainly burgers. I went for the fish burger and was not disappointed! Pop in for breakfast or lunch and on your way out head to E.S.P or Naturally Esperance for the perfect Mother’s Day gift.

That’s right, Mother’s Day is just around the corner. But don’t worry - we have you covered. Check out our list of hip Mother’s Day gifts for Esperance’s cool mums at esperancetide.com. Make sure you book ahead if your taking the special lady in your life out to breakfast or lunch. Onshore will be open and also BYO - did I hear Champagne breakfast? The boys from Tailtap Skate Clinics were in town over the weekend teaching young kids (and teens) how to skate and/or improve their skating skills. We shot both days on camera and put together a video so get excited and stay tuned. Well that’s a wrap, enjoy the fortnight, Happy Mother’s Day and may the fourth be with you!
