To complete the Release fill out each of the fields in the dialogue:
Release Content for all Languages?
If your site is multi-lingual this will release all the versions of your page corresponding to other available languages. By not checking this box you are specifying the release of only the current language.
Approve pages before release?
This will send an approval request to the person specified under the Selected Approver pull-down. Your page will not release until this person has provided their approval. For further information on approval see the Users, Roles, Permissions, and Advanced Workflow section.
Release Date
Specify the date and time of the page’s release using the calendar icon next to the field. If you wish the page to release immediately ignore the field and the calendar icon and click the Current Date/Time check box next to the field.
Expire Date
Select a date for the web page to expire by using the calendar icon next to the field. Expired pages will be removed from the website and visitors will receive a message stating that the page is no longer available.
Send email notifications?
Clicking this checkbox will send a email notification to the selected approved informing them that a page is awaiting their attention. If you do not send a notification the approver will have no indication that a page is waiting.
Select Approver
This pull-down allows you to select a user from the web site to approve the page you are releasing. Only individuals with the proper role and permissions setting to approve your page will appear in this list.
Click the Save button to finalise the release. A confirmation message will appear at the top of the dialogue telling you the release information has been save successfully. see Figure 6-3
