Patrick Davis, The Town of Middletown Supervisor, has stood by while “A TRUE AND CORRECT COPY of the 2020 BUDGET OF THE TOWN OF MIDDLETOWN” is being given out for voters to peruse. I went so far as the first page of figures and already found a discrepancy of $34,000 for the Arkville Water District. The budget shows the expenses at $58,559 and subtracts the estimated revenues of $75,559 to come up with a need of $17,000 to be raised by taxes. There is already a $17,000 surplus so; the budget would produce a $34,000 surplus of unaccounted for tax money. Patrick Davis boasts, “I am GOOD AT MATH.” Again, the math does not add up. Mr. Davis, how will the extra $34,000 be accounted for? At the bottom of the Preliminary Budget cover page, it reads “AS ADOPTED BY THE TOWN ON THE 13th DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2019” I feel that this line can be misleading and should not be on the Preliminary Budget cover page.

NEED A HANDYMAN?

PATRICK DAVIS allows Deceased Absentee Vote

Available and Highly Competent to Tackle:

Here are some facts attributed to the current Town of Middletown Supervisor, Patrick Davis.

Patrick Davis, under his supervision of a recent Referendum vote, has allowed a deceased Absentee vote to be counted, Five (5) voters from outside the district to vote and a Provisional vote was allowed for a deceased person by someone not on the property deed nor in the district, as required by the rules set forth by the Town of Middletown for an eligible vote to be cast. Also, under our current Supervisor Patrick Davis, who stated in his recent debate “I’m good at math,” has done nothing about several errors with the final vote count. On the Official vote sheet, the line TOTAL VOTES COUNTED reads 21 + 10 = 10. Even people who aren’t “good at math” know that does not add up. Even a week later after a correction of the TOTAL VOTES COUNTED it read 20 + 10 = 10. It still does not add up. Pat Davis, “Good at math” ???? I feel that when our tax dollars are

spent, everything should add up and our politicians should be accountable for their actions.

Patrick Davis was contacted about these voting irregularities in August 2019 and as of this date has not responded. Because of the lack of response by Mr. Davis, The State Attorney General's Office and investigative unit will be addressing these voting irregularities.

ARIES – MAR 21/APR 20

LIBRA – SEPT 23/OCT 23

TAURUS – APR 21/MAY 21

SCORPIO – OCT 24/NOV 22

Aries, a hectic schedule is on the horizon, so it is important to get your organizational skills in order. Things are bound to get busy as the month wears on.

Libra, you can’t mask a shaky structure, no matter how many superficial changes you make. Devote some attention to those things that need fixing.

Taurus, take a few moments at the start of each day this week to just breathe and get ready for what’s in store for you. Doing so will help you tackle anything that comes your way.

Don’t let your mind get the better of you, Scorpio. It’s easy to dream up scenarios, but put yourself in the here and now this week; the future can wait.

Romantic prospects have you eager to spend time with a special someone, Gemini. Block out a night or two when you can enjoy time away as a couple.

Sagittarius, if an opportunity for advancement at work pops up, grab it with both hands. You have been waiting for a chance to make your mark and try new things.

GEMINI – MAY 22/JUN 21

CANCER – JUN 22/JUL 22

Cancer, you may have to let a situation at work blow over instead of letting it get the best of you. It is important to pick your battles in this scenario. Wait it out for the time being.

LEO – JUL 23/AUG 23

SAGITTARIUS – NOV 23/DEC 21

CAPRICORN – DEC 22/JAN 20

Capricorn, you have to push through to the finish line this week even if you are feeling tired. Your reward will come with some weekend festivities.

AQUARIUS – JAN 21/FEB 18

Leo, a seemingly impossible situation may just need to be seen through a new perspective. Try talking to someone to get a different point of view.

Changes at work are looming, Aquarius. Try to be receptive to the modifications and find a way to put your own mark on things. A leadership role could emerge.

Virgo, after a lengthy period of rest and relaxation, it is time to get back to the grind. Your skills may be a bit rusty, but things will come back to you quickly.

Pisces, you may need to play mediator in a delicate situation this week. Take a careful approach and consider both sides of the coin.

VIRGO – AUG 24/SEPT 22

PISCES – FEB 19/MAR 20
