‘Blood Donation Drive’ held as part of Nissan Oman community initiatives MUSCAT: Nissan from Suhail Bahwan Automobiles concluded their ‘Blood Donation Drive’ in association with the Ministry of Health to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of Suhail Bahwan Automobiles in Oman across their leading branches in Salalah, Nizwa, Sohar and Qurum. The initiative was part of Nissan’s commitment towards the community which was a huge success and was supported by an overwhelming response from volunteers from the community, says a press release. SBA, since the past decade, have emerged pioneers in introducing new schemes, programmes and events that keep them at par with current technological advancements keeping in mind their moral
social responsibility too. A spokesperson from the ministry said, “We were thrilled to see the positive response from the local community who came forward to support the initiative. The participants and volunteers from the local community were enthusiastic and supported the drive. The event wouldn’t have been a success without the assistance and active participation from SBA officials.” A senior SBA official said, “The initiative was an absolute success with over 90 employees, customers and members of the public who participated in the blood donation. As an auto brand, we remain committed to playing an active role in supporting our broader community in the Sultanate and helping those in need.”
The blood donation drive was initiated by the Ministry of Health in response to the increasing need for medical emergency cases and blood disorders such as blood cancer, thalassaemia, sickle cell, and anaemia. Senior SBA official added, “The aim of this blood drive is to con-
tribute to building up the blood stock which is desperately needed when donations drop down due to people being away. It is of critical importance to ensure that people actively think of regular blood donations; the process takes a little time and effort, yet, it can abso-
lutely save lives.” SBA has been conducting such activities which is indicative of its social (moral) presence in Oman. This goes to show that SBA has been successfully growing in operations and is consistently spreading its network throughout the Sultanate of Oman. “Excellence in customer service can only be fully achieved by having an organisational culture and value system which places the customer at the heart of everything that an organisation and its people do. At Suhail Bahwan Automobiles this philosophy is a way of life. This is reflective of our relentless efforts towards our valued customers whom we provide with some of the best services all year round,” commented
a key spokesperson from Suhail Bahwan Automobiles. “When it comes to providing good service, the firms that are able to build strong relationships with their customers are more likely to maintain a solid core of enthusiastic supporters. “Quickly resolving issues and going beyond customers’ expectations encourages repeat business from patrons, and in many cases, we go further than that. High quality customer service helps to create customer loyalty. Customers today are not only interested in the product they are being offered, but also all the additional elements of service that they receive starting from the greeting when they enter a retail outlet,” the key spokesperson opined.
