Lincoln MKZ comes with cash gift offer The MKZ is one fine example that signals a significant step in Lincoln’s reinvention, providing a clear vision of its nextgeneration vehicles
MUSCAT: The Lincoln MKZ is one of the finest luxury sedans that abound with the latest in features and technologies too. The MKZ is one fine example that signals a significant step in Lincoln’s reinvention, providing a clear vision of its next-generation vehicles. Customers looking to own the MKZ now have a huge reason to rejoice. The MKZ is now available with impressive cash gift of OMR5,000 and 0% interest on EMI (Conditions apply. Visit showroom for details), says a press release.
The MKZ’s shape is a vision of simplicity completed with just a few strokes. Warm hues are evident in every aspect of the new vehicle’s exterior. The deep finish is achieved with a rich base coat covered in multiple layers of tinted clear-coat finishes. By retaining key, recognisable brand design elements, the MKZ remains clearly identifiable as a Lincoln. One example is the more refined interpretation of the split-wing grille, introduced on the 1938 Lincoln-Zephyr. The sedan’s profile is dominated by a long, sleek and sweeping
roofline that allows the design to break away from the traditional sedan three-box shape. The lengthening of the roofline enables a more flowing, elegant and more naturally aerodynamic appearance. A panoramic glass roof spans uninterrupted from the windshield to the top of the backlight. Integrated into the sedan’s aluminium and boron steel superstructure, the fixed-glass expanse extends to the side roof rails of the cabin, creating an airy, open interior. LED technology enabled an extremely thin and distinctive
full-width tail lamp graphic. Exhaust tips are cleanly integrated into the rear fascia. The Lincoln MKZ’s four-seat interior is open, warm and inviting. The front graphic is repeated in the dramatic sweep of the instrument panel, helping tie the interior to the exterior. Innovative interior features include push-button transmission gear selection, an open, tiered centre console and liquid crystal instrumentation. The reconfigurable 10.1-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) LCD positioned ahead of the driver operates with the latest version of MyLincoln Touch as does the nearly flushmounted centre 8-inch LCD touch screen. Responsibly harvested poplar wood, aluminium in bright and satin finishes as well as leather help create a sculptural, luxurious and comfortable interior space. Champagne-coloured leather seats with dark taupe accents feature a champagne perforation pattern, so-called because the perforations on the seat backs conjure the image of champagne bubbles rising from the bottom of a glass. In Oman, Lincoln vehicles are brought to you by Arabian Car Marketing Co.

breakfast.” He added, “Scrabble is brain game of word power and a healthy breakfast can provide best nutrition for the development of our brain. Kellogg’s is proud to be associated with this event.” “At SPAR, we always look for opportunities to enhance our shopper’s experience. SPAR Oman has already broken the barrier of just being a destination supermarket offering fresh, choice, value and service but also engaging shoppers in activities where they can participate and enjoy with their family,” said Devendra Kumar – head, SPAR Oman. “When it comes to Scrabble, which is a very popular indoor family game, we happily agreed to be a part of this exciting event. The tournament in Oman is the brainchild of Megel Barker, an expatriate British/Jamaican who is Middle School assistant principal at ABA. “Scrabble is one of the sports that will help students to develop important thinking skills, it is played at home as a family game but I believe that children who play scrabble competitively, will grow to love the language,” he explained. “I play scrabble online and in Gulf tournaments, but I felt that there was not enough of the sport being played among kids. When I saw that Qatar had 20 kids in the recent World Youth Championships in Lille, I wondered, why shouldn’t Oman be doing the same?” For the youth tournament, you can enter by completing the forms available at any SPAR outlets in Muscat, in schools, online, or in the Times of Oman.
