ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Your child will learn at a personalized pace through engaging activities that make learning exciting and fun. Our Elementary program, which spans PreKinder 3 through Fifth grade, offers small class sizes for individualized instruction.
Our goal is to build a firm foundation for your child’s future success in academic learning as well as preparation for the more formal elements of schooling through English instruction, socialization, and motor skills.
EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER
The Early Childhood Center Program includes grades Pre-Kinder 3 - 1st grade. In our Early Childhood Center the foundation for behaving and learning is rooted in play.
Learning is dynamic, personalized, and empowering. The program is grounded on a standards-based approach using an inquiry lens to engage in teaching and learning through projects and in-depth explorations utilizing the Workshop Model.
The Workshop Model is an instructional practice that consists of three parts:
• A focused and interactive mini-lesson that introduces key concepts, skills, or strategies.
• Time to actively engage in meaningful tasks and apply their learning.
• A debrief to share their learning with their peers and teachers.

The Creative Curriculum recognizes and celebrates these individual differences. We provide a flexible framework that allows teachers to tailor their lessons to meet the specific needs of each child, fostering a sense of ownership and empowerment in their educational journey. Our program encourages children to set goals, take risks, and embrace their own path to success.
At the heart of the Creative Curriculum is a deep understanding of child development. Children learn best when their social-emotional, cognitive, physical and language needs are met. Our program provides a nurturing environment that fosters positive relationships, selfregulation, and a strong sense of well-being, ensuring that every child thrives and flourishes.
STANDARDS BASED GRADING
Standards-based grading is an intentional way for teachers to track their students’ performance based on specific learning standards or objectives rather than relying solely on traditional letter grades. It provides a comprehensive understanding of a student’s mastery of skills and knowledge within each subject area.
It ensures that every student receives personalized feedback and assessment, enabling them to reach their full potential and meet academic standards. Through this approach, we foster a deeper understanding of subjects and promote a culture of continuous growth and achievement.
SECONDARY SCHOOL
The Secondary Model (grades 6-12) aligns curriculum, promotes innovation and increases collaboration.
Our students are offered an expansive academic program that will enable them to enroll successfully in the higher education institution of their choice and have a seamless transition into the university environment.

Our students will be supported as they prepare to become successful global citizens in a rapidly changing world. We develop your child’s’ knowledge, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and nurture curiosity, creativity, and resilience – empowering every child to reach their fullest intellectual, social and creative potential.
EA offers a rich and extensive academic program that requires students to plan and make decisions based on personal strengths, goals and interests.
We encourage all students to be involved in the Advanced Programming Courses during their Secondary years at EA. These challenging courses enhance academic preparedness and provide an opportunity to earn college credits.
STEAM
Through problem solving with real-world connections and technology your child will be ready to compete in this ever-changing world and the global marketplace of the future.
EA is at the forefront of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education. Our 2 state-of-the-art STEAM Labs and 1 Fabrication Lab offer students handson experiences with cutting-edge equipment and technology. Through exciting projects and experiments, students develop critical STEAM skills and cultivate a passion for innovation.
Students will get hands-on experiences and unstructured time to explore and invent starting as early as Pre-Kinder 3.
EXPLORING IMAGINATION
The Arts are essential to the development of the whole child.
Visual and Performing Arts provide students with a platform to unleash their creativity and express their unique perspectives. By engaging in artistic activities, students learn to think outside the box, explore new ideas, and express themselves in meaningful ways.
Starting in Pre-Kinder 3, students have numerous opportunities to participate in the Arts: curricular music, dance, drama, visual arts classes, band and choir, musicals, art exhibits, drama productions, talent shows, and more.

We believe that a well-rounded education includes physical development and teamwork. Our Athletics Program offers a wide range of sports, ensuring every student finds their passion. With top-notch facilities and experienced coaches, we foster sportsmanship, discipline, and a healthy competitive spirit. At EA, our athletes thrive on and off the field.
We offer the following sports: Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Handball, Track and Field, Cross Country, Wall Climbing, Weight Training.
A HEALTHY BALANCED LIFE
Your child will reflect, and focus on improving their mental and physical health. The Wellness Program helps alleviate some of the modern-day stress our youth are feeling. We know that your child is more capable of learning when their emotional needs are met and we strive to help facilitate this optimal state for our community of learners.
Our social-emotional program integrates with RULER, an evidence based approach developed at Yale University’s Center for Emotional Intelligence. It supports our students in developing emotional intelligence, fostering positive relationships, and nurturing overall wellbeing. Through this program, we strive to cultivate resilient, empathetic, and socially responsible individuals who are prepared to thrive in all aspects of their lives.

As part of our College Counseling Program, we have partnered with Blue Ivy Coaching to provide the absolute best-individualized college coaching and application process to every student at EA.
Blue Ivy Coaching has highly trained college advisors and coaches who work independently with each student and every family to provide our students the opportunity to be admitted to the university of their choice.
