Rome is the capital of Italy and has a population of 2.8 million the romans. According to legend, Rome city was foundedby the twins Romulus and Remus in 753 BC. The city is located on the banks of the river Tiber and was founded on top of seven hills.

1- COLOSSEUM

The Colosseum, the enormous amphitheatreis certainly the most famous tourist attraction in Rome city.It is even one of the seven modern wonders of the world.


2-ROMAN FORUM

The Roman Forum was its seat of power. It was a marvel of architecture with squares, columns, statues, administrative buildings, etc.


3-PIAZZA NAVONA

The Piazza Navona is one of the most beautiful squares in Rome and has La Fontana deiQuattro Fiumiand Stadium of Domitian.


4-TREVI FOUNTAIN

The TreviFountain is probably the most famous in the world. The tourists throw a coin in the fountain to make sure you will return one day.


VATICAN CITY Sistine Chapel St. Peter´s Basilica St. Peter´s Square

The smallest indepent state in the world and residence of the pope. It is surrounded by Rome. Its population is 800 people and it was founded in 1929.


5-ST. PETER´S SQUARE

is the large square in the Vatican. The St Peter’s Square is known for the speeches by the Pope at Easter and Christmas.


6-ST. PETER´S BASILICA

is the most famous church. The Basilica is the papal residency in Vatican City.


7-SISTINE CHAPEL

The chapel with lovely frescos by Michelangelo that is mostly known as the site of conclave when a new pope is elected.


8-PIAZZA DI SPAGNA & THE SPANISH STEPS

Next to the Piazza Spagnalie the ScalinatadellaTrinita deiMonti, better known as the Spanish Steps of Rome. There are 135 steps and three different terraces.


9- PANTHEON

The Pantheon is the best preserved building from Roman time. It is now a church.


10- CATACOMBS

They are subway galleries used for several centuries as cemeteries.

LA PLATA CITY TOUR


La Plata city

It´s the capital of the province of Buenos Aires.

It was founded by the governor Dardo Rocha on November 19th, 1882.


The Cathed ral

It´s the main catholic temple in the city. Its construction began in 1884.

It was inaugurated in 1932.

After 60 years of the foundations, the two towers were completed.

The Cathedral has 25 bells that are controlled remotely.

It has a museum.


National Universit y of La Plata It has 17 faculties. It has 137 careers. It has 5 colleges. National University La Plata is the second most important in our country. 1


Passage Dardo Rocha

It was built in 1883.

It was called “Station 19th”.

It was a train station used for the transfer of construction materials. 1


In 1903, the train station moved to 1 and 44.

In 1926, it was transformed into a cultural center called Passage Dardo Rocha. 1


The Children ´s Republic Its construction began in 1949. It was inaugurated on November 26th, 1951 by President Juan Domingo Perón.

It´s believed that Walt Disney was inspired on it to build Disneyland in 1955. 1


Argentin e Theater It was inaugurated in 1890. It caught fire in 1977.

Its floor plan has mayor and minor diagonals like the city plan. It has three large theaters and a microcinema.

Moreno Square The founding of the city was celebrated here. In 1982, the foundation stone was opened and coins, documents, medals and plans were found. It has 4 fountains that represent the seasons of the year.
