" A Pre pe ration . . . " College takes four vears to complete, some foolishly. ca ll it four y·ea rs "out'' of your life. But this is not so. The four years spent are the most importa nt tO the final form ation of our religious, moral and soc ial deve lopment. College is work. True, in all d :1n itio ns ·=> f the word. But the \\ ' O k and the final co mpletion of it <If 2 ber.·elicial for all. Firstly, ro ourse lv·e s-beca us e o f o ur ultimate goal, and secondly, to society-because in striving for a better individual status nawrally along the road we wou ld build a society more lit for all. But college is also a way of life. And, therefore it is not a ll work. As the saying goes, "A ll work and no play makes Salve Reg ina girls dull individua ls". We have our clubs, organizations, parties and proms. Herein lies the strands of confusion. Some feel that in order to get ahead they must join everything. The cruel catch-clubs meet at different times and it might happen that you'd find no time for study. Be Careful! College is a good way o f life; it is fun , it is work, but most of all it is a preparation. Prepare carefully!
