Elang Private Residence Is Made For The Traveler Who Desires To Explore The Untouched Parts Of Indonesia

Amidst the unexplored beaches of the Anambas Islands in Indonesia, there is a cliffside oasis on the neighboring island of 'Elang'. The Elang Private Residence offers a total of six lodges with the best playground on a private island exclusively for groups of friends and family of up to 19 people.

Intending to make the lodging even more exclusive, the gastronomic experience has the "dine by design" concept personalized for each guest and is inspired by the essential elements of Earth: fire, water, nature, and air. The ingredients are carefully chosen on-site, including products grown in Bawah's permaculture gardens and traditional cooking methods, such as wood-fired ovens to give the smoke of the forests, island clay used for cooking plancha, and fresh seafood prepared with salt from the surrounding sea.

All accommodations follow the premise of sustainability and were built with the lowest carbon emissions. The design perfectly combines the "outside" natural environment with lavish interiors created from recycled natural materials, bamboo, logs, and hand-cut stones. The use of these, alongside floating and textured furniture, offers a sense of escapism and adventure to the design.

Each chalet comes with its own private butler, just a WhatsApp message away from the guests' phone, and features spacious living areas with traditional handwoven panels and sculptures crafted by artisans from Java. Each chalet has a spacious balcony with stunning sea views, some with outdoor bathtubs and most with private paths leading to hidden rocky coves and the sea.
